It has been annouced that after the Drew arc angel will continue under the title Angel: Only Human which will continue off from #23 (Spinning out of the events of Angel #23, Gunn and Illyria embark on their very own four-part miniseries. Fully restored in body if not in mind, Illyria"”infected with humanity"”and Gunn"”infected with darkness"”hit the road in an attempt to find redemption, or die trying. By Scott Lobdell (Galaxy Quest) and David Messina (Star Trek: Countdown)!)

This could be good. Nice to see Scott Lobdell writing. He wrote some great X-men stories back in the nineties. He balances character moments and action quite well. So if he's on form, this should be a great read.

Gunn and Illyria, sort of a strange pairing, considering how little they actually were together during Season 5 or previously in the "After The Fall/Aftermath" arcs. Of course, Charlie's vampirism was the deciding factor in the latter. Still, with the right storyline, it could be quite good.

Doesn't it seen just a little much to have two more of the series regulars out there hunting that golden chalice called "Redemption?" Isn't there something else they could go on a quest for, just to be different? Okay, Angel has decided that he has at last atoned for his past sins (who would have thought that getting Los Angeles sent to hell, having thousands of people killed, then tricking the Senior Partners into not only pulling LA back into the real world, but also restoring all of those dead people to life, plus returning to humanity anyone who happened to have been turned into a vampire while in hell? So simple! He could have done it back in Season 1, if he had only known.) I'm not really sure about Spike. I really hope that he hasn't taken over Angel's job as Brooder In Residence. That just doesn't seem to be his style.
