Story from "˜A Hole In The World'

Does anyone know what book Wes was reading to Fred to keep her awake while she was sick in "A Hole In The World"?
It sounded like a fairy tale, or some sort of children's book, but I am really curious to know what book it is from because Joss loves to tie in things like that. So if anyone could type what was read from it, or knows what book it is from, I'd really appreciate the info.
I can't tape episodes or I would just watch it again and type it myself, I know it's a big favor, but I'd make a banner or something in return for the info.
