Angel Acting Weird?

Am I the only one who thought that Angel was acting weird on Chosen? I have not seen season 4 yet but he must have changed alot to react that way. I thought he would be furious that Buffy was having a relationship with Spike. I mean the Angel I know would not say this:

Buffy: Are you gonna do this everytime I get a new boyfriend?

Angel: Aha! You said boyfriend.

or the way he casualy asked if Spike was her boyfriend.
 
i think that its just becos he knows that what she feels for spike isnt anything much.... i guess i dunno i thought he was weird too
 
yeah I agree with ladykaos, and Angel has changed in S4 and I think he was just alittle happy about the kiss its just like Willow acted different when she was on Angel I guess its just the writers atleast he wasnt all moody
 
I found the whole exchange between Buffy and Angel in this ep to seem pretty forced. Whether it's because of David's acting or Joss' writing or whatever, I have no idea.
 
I thought it was hilarous lol Angel was totally jealous it was great ah i wish i taped that! so i could watch that part every christmas or every morning before school!
 
Angel has grown up a lot, he's no longer the guy that beat the crap out of Riley, and by not getting upset or going after Spike, he kind of said "hey, Spike, you're a loser and you're not even worth beating up"
 
Well, riley kinda came after him. If Spike came after him, I'm sure they'd have a row.
 
I think he was just nervous being around her again...as he was walking away, he was probably saying to himself: "idiot...i'm an idiot".
 
ANGEL ...ANGEL... ANGEL...POOR SWEET ANGEL...

Can any-one imagine how lost he must have felt standing before Buffy. . . He had just lost his son and knew that cordy would most likely never wake-up. . . He signed on with W/H inorder to save his son. . . He gave his soul to evil to help conor. . . All he ever had in his life that was good was his SOUL... CONNOR... BUFFY...CORDY.(possably but I dont think his love for her was reall I think it was a spell). . . All he had left at this time was Buffy. . . So I think considering these things he was acting the part he should have been , a broken man who had lost almost everything. . . I think he was to sad to say anything. . . I think next season the issue of Buffy/Angel/Spike/Cordy will be resolved. . . Well I hope so anyways. . .
