ANGEL After the Fall #16

ATF #16 Extremly BAD

I have got to say this is not what i expected this has got to be the worst ending ever i mean going back in time why dident they just do it before or a least fight better in the original fight anyone else agree

By having Gunn kill him, Angel made the Senior Partners' plans for their apocalypse impossible. The only way they saw to reverse the situation was to reverse their plunging LA into Hell. By doing so, everybody who's died in hell is alive again, but everyone brought back to live (Wesley) is still dead. The knowledge all the characters have remains though. So a lot of things have changed:

  • Illyria realises what she's done by killing Fred and finally.
  • Everybody else knows there is absolutely no way of bringing Fred back.
  • Jerry gets to reach his fiancée.
  • Wesley is dead.
  • Gunn knows he was a vampire for a while and killed many people. Even though they're alive again, he might still feel guilt about this.
  • Connor knows that Gwen loved, but betrayed him. Will he give her a second chance out of hell?
  • Connor remembers everything; from his birth to threatening to kill those people in "Home".

Questions not answered yet:
  • Where has the W&H LA office gone?
  • Are Spider and the others still the slaves of Non?
  • The SP said that Wesley was the reason that they'd win... what did they mean by this?

There are of course many many more!

I always appreciate your posts, always clear and it all makes sense to me... many thanks :)
The SP said that Wesley was the reason that they'd win... what did they mean by this?

^Not to mention the fact that Lorne said that Wesley is destined to play a HUGE role in the apocalypse.

I still think the fact that 15,000,000+ people who have never met Angel and died before he recovered from his broken bones some how know who he is is also suspicious.

Spike told them about him. Everybody thinks his real name is "Peaches" O'Poofter.
Speaking of Wes, was that Illyria's demon body he was seen walking up to (or into) just before the Big Rewind? Was there any significance to that scene that I missed?

It was either a mistake or something there's no way we can figure out right now. He walks into her body which is a fair distance away, and then by the next page he's back where he started...
