Great Reference Guide, Old Master. I saved it to my hard drive Angel file. Thanks.

This is actually not the entire on screen timeline. It doesn't include the episode where Angel and the gang watch a play, with dead actors. In that episode, Angel says he watched it during his evil days. But I guess that deosn't really count.Cause it wasn't seen, but was said.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe Old Master is trying to collect the the story bits that are integral to Angel's life story.

I'm not sure a play Angel saw in the old days would apply.

It's like I watched Oprah today, but I didn't bother mentioning it in my journal.

Or I don't know maybe I'm wrong. Maybe Old Master can tell us what sorts of "omissions" he's looking for.

Thanks for the interjection there, bud.
Thank you for your comment, XxSlayerxX.

As you just realized...events that are merely ALLUDED to on the show do not count, only filmed events, as the title of this thread states.

To clarify about omissions...I mean anything from Angel's FILMED history that may have appeared on the show, but was missed completely by me when the above list was compiled.

Very interesting OM - you've obviously put a lot of work into this. Will there be any others? Possibly from other members who have an interest in certain characters (come on guys, you don't expect OM to do all the heavy lifting, do you?😉)

Missing Information

First I'd like to say Old Master 2.0 I take my hat off to you, the guide is fantastic (I am currently trying to do a complete Angel biography, followed by a Spike one and this will help a lot). However I note that you have missed out a little bit from Season 5 The Girl In Question

1894 Rome, Italy "The Girl in Question"

Angelus and Spike are held captive by The Immortal in The Room of Pain. After being freed by a suited servant of the Immortal accompanied by two crossbow wielding bodyguards, they are told that Rome is the Immortal's city and that they are to leave that night swearing under pain of death to never return. Angelus swiftly breaks the neck of the suited man and challenges and threatens the bodyguards who proceed to run off. Angelus complains about what has happened to his shirt and states that there will be a reckoning after a good meal and a rest.

Spike and Angelus return to the room where they are staying with Darla and Drusilla to find Darla sprawled naked, face down on a bed. Angelus rushes to her and she awakens clearly weakened. They kiss and Angelus knows instantly that the Immortal has tasted her. Spike and Angelus complain and Angelus asks Darla if she was hurt to which she replies not until she asked him to. Angelus and Spike continue to complain. Darla says that the Immortal is not like a common vampire but a titan straddling good and evil. Angelus says that the Immortal is his arch-nemesis but Darla shrugs it off saying it was merely fornication. Drusilla steps out where a lacy negligee and Spike realises angrily that The Immortal slept with Drusilla too. Darla and Drusilla say that it was concurrent, Angelus and Spike are outranged because they were never allowed to do that. Darla and Drusilla retire to take a bath while Angelus and Spike in an outrange plan blood vengeance against The Immortal.

Okay so that wasn't the most eloquent thing I have ever written but it has all the information, I suspect Old Master that you would prefer to write it out yourself to be included in your timeline but if you wish the above can be used.🙂

Can I agree with Shimmer? Personally I hate Girl in Question, and would prefer to pretend it never existed, but Angel's run-ins with The Immortal do seem to need a spot in your history.

Also would there be a spot in there for interesting little character details, like it has been alluded to several times Angel is vain and cheap. I just watched that one last night where Lindsey gets the evil hand, and some delivery guy is grumbling about Angel's meager tip. There have been other such allusions to his cheapness. With the vanity thing, Cordelia, the guru guy and others have mentioned it. Remember Cordelia's hair-gel comment?

Lol...gentlemen, I do appreciate your responses, but I am a little confused as to why nobody can see that the "GIRL IN QUESTION" has ALWAYS been listed there?

Please read through the complilation again...more slowly this time, I assure you it's THERE...unless I'm seeing things right now. 😛

But thank you Shimmer...your willingness to help is most appreciated. :: tu ::

Nerd4hire, your suggestion is interesting....could you perhaps list all those that you remember off the top of your head? I REALLY don't want to go through all those disks again right now...lol...

Yeah I just saw it up there when I read nerd4hire's post but I could swear that it wasn't there before, I think I have spent too many hours looking at screens. Apologies for the mistake🙂

I have to confess I didn't read the whole thing. I read the first part, then said to myself, "Hey this might come in handy". I just clicked File-Save as, then sent it to the file I keep for my Angel stuff. Usually when I'm looking for something I just open the page then CTRL F, then F3 it. That's why I save stuff like this.

As far as looking for the Vanity and Cheapness quotes, sure I'll look. Might take me a bit to get to it, though. I'm watching Angel reruns right now too. I'll grab the info as it comes from there as well, OK?

Well, hey...there's no hurry N4H. This compilation isn't going anywhere anytime soon.

If you remember any just off the top of your head, super.

Appreciate the help, bud.

Ya know, N4H bud, I'm liking this list of "Vanity & Cheapness" quotes. It's a better idea than initially thought. In fact, I think it deserves it's own thread alongside mine....rather than be buried in this one, where it won't be as readily visible to other readers.

I'll separate this from my thread and stake it....what do ya think? :: tu ::

Uh...sure. If that's what you want to do. I imagine you'll want a broader title, something like, Angel: Character Traits and Personality quirks. That way others can add to it.

Can you do me a favour and insist they support their assertions with quotes or links? Cause that irritates the hell out of me when some mini-expert will present something as fact that's not generally accepted as such, like Angel has a lisp, and he likes Fruit Loops, then doesn't support the claim. Something like what I did a few posts above. 😉

I'm not sure, but rather than delete the original vanity-cheapness post above, you may have to simply edit it by deleting the text within, then replacing it with a link to the other thread, and a little disclaimer to get 15 characters. You'll see why, when you try it I think.

Are you sure you want to go to all that bother?

Thanks for the timeline. I have to admit that sometimes I drifted off when they did a flashback on some of the eps. Nice to be able to see it flow smoothly and now I can understand it better. Thanks again!!
