Has anyone else seen this yet? It's the movie from the comic convention that Angel and Spike attended with who is obviously Nicholas Cage playing Angel and Spike as a woman vampire whose human name was Sarah. Really weird, but funny.
 
I'll pick it up tomorrow from PO (Hollywood mockery at it's best from what I've heard)
 
Yeah I just picked this up the other day. It's quite funny. It's a whole 'Hollywoodized' version of the ATF series. Betta George is a dog, Spike is a chick, Gunn is played by Hurley from Lost, Fred is a black chick wearing an electricity suit called an I.L.L.Y.R.I.A. and Wesley was a cop who was Angels partner before the fall.

It's quite amusing.
 
I got it from e-bay comic stores. It's hilarious.

I liked the "Fang" Gang strolling to the impediment battle with the tension raising ("the ticking clock has ticked his last tock"). There's editor notes, advertisements and now I'd like an overlorne mint shake, please.

I thought it was pretty bad. I get the satire, but I think they relied too heavily on the novelty of the premise, and didn't give us enough clever... well anything.

I also had a hard time seeing Andy's Lorne being portrayed as a villain postmortem. Even as a joke. I'm not saying it was in poor taste, it wasn't, but for me... I'm not a fan.

Like I've been saying about Glenn's Doyle, I'd like to see him portrayed as an ethereal Oracle of TPTB, just a rarely seen emissary of the Good Guys (like Cordy), but nothing too heady and certainly nothing dark.
