Angel beat Buffy The Vampire Slayer?

On TV Guides top 10 Supernatural Shows....

Angel came in first, followed by Buffy. How can Angel beat Buffy? Angel was a spin off of Buffy, shouldn't Buffy be ranked better. It's a cult classic and ANGEL beat it?! Gotta be some kind of government conspiracy.

Are you going to literally accept TV GUIDE's word on which show was the better? What is your feeling on the subject?

Personally, I think that BUFFY THE VAMPIRE was the superior show. But it's my opinion. If the minions at TV GUIDE don't share it, who cares?

What's with all the Buffy vs Angel thing again? We should be pleased that both our shows came 'joint top'.

Do you have a link for this? I'd like to see who else was in the poll. Any Firefly? (maybe Firefly isn't strictly supernatural)

Bah if you did a poll of all the whedonverse fans, tv critics, and people who actually watched the show then Buffy would be considered a better overall show than Angel. Or just in simple numbers Buffy has sold more dvds (and all sorts o' swag) than Angel (even if you took away two seasons). However I think Angel explored more supernatural elements than Buffy did. So whatever it's a poll and polls are based on opinions and not fact. Sheesh.
