Angel Box Set

I'm pretty excited, my birthday is on Monday so I'm hoping I get enough gift money to buy it. I'm going to buy it no matter what, but I was going to pay for it by selling the old individual seasons I have, but if I get the money to buy it for my birthday, then I'll have extra money from selling the old ones. =D

I didn't realise there were different versions of the boxed set. I've got "The Complete DVD Collector's Edition"
It came with a letter from Joss! Which was exciting, to me, lol.

What other ones are there?
 
It's $55.99 at amazon right now. Jump on that while it's hot! That's roughly $11.20 a season. Dude. I thought the $69.99 was a deal. Now I'm glad I didn't get it then - I was starting to think I was poop-out-of-luck. This price makes up a little for me not getting the Chosen Collection on special.


(and visionguy, with you in mind i've been checking the chosen price every day along with checking the angel prices - it'll happen)

no way! $55? i got it for $99 at best buy, but the only reason i went best buy was because i had a $75 gift card so really i only paid $30 or so after tax.

I could hug my box set. See, Angel i watched when i could when it first aired, and i got through i think the first 2 seasons straight through, and i think season 3 i was spotty with watching it and i dropped off at the second half of four...and i didn't remember episodes i DID watch the way i did Buffy.

But now i just finished season 1, and was going "oh yeah! oh yeah! i remember that!" and im reaaally appreciating the series much more now and can't wait to watch the whole thing and see all the stuff i missed in seasons 4 and 5.
 
I paid $100+ for the Angel box set, but that doesn't bother me. I already had bought each season individually, and figured that my continued support might inspire somebody to cash in on the cow and do some suppliment material. It's too bad S6 is all we're getting.
 
So, not only is the Angel Set back on sale (for $69.99) at amazon, but so is the Buffy Chosen Collection, for $99.99... (?!?!?!)

If anyone is seriously wanting the Buffy Collection, I say go now, that last $55 Angel special wasn't even up for a day.

I just got the Chosen Collection in the mail. It looks so purty. I'm excited yall. Even though I have the whole series on DVD already, there's something about having the box set that excites me. I'm gonna go watch the Bonus Features disc now.

Yay! The roundtable discussion with writers and some cast members is so so great. Congrats and enjoy VG.
