Now thinking about getting the Angel dvd box sets, I mean £33 each is kinda ok. Is this a good thing or what? I've heard about new releases now sometime in january, what'll be so new about them? Or was that just Buffy?

I know I've read somewhere about this so please redirect me to that thread.

Oh, I haven't heard about any new releases.. But you know I think you should by them 🙂 . I'm actually thinking of ordering the fifth season at this very moment.. But damn it's a lot of money.. Almost twice the price of season 2 or 3.

Personally I am going to hold on until there is a complete Angel set, like the Buffy one that came out at the end of last year (it's brilliant btw)...they'd better do it. I've promised Mrs P I'll get it for her...

£33 is a good price but I know they will do something better as last year they were selling the Buffy boxsets for £29.99. Also series 5 is to be released soon, so hopefully they will do something better once all boxsets have been released.

Buying the complete set would be great, just depends on how much it is going to cost. :rolfkit:

I wish I could wait and buy the complete box set.. But I have never seen season 5, and my only chance of doing that is buying the DVDs, and I can't wait longer than til Februari (when season 5 is released).. Even though it costs £59.99... (Plus shipping and things, so probably more like £75.)

After considering all of your wise advice I've decided to go on with it and actually by it. As TheChosenOne put it, £33 is a good price and it's better to buy them now when I have some money left than to wait for the complete box only to find out that when it's released I've got no money.

I just wanted to say that I checked out the boxes in the stores and HMV (not online) wanted me to pay £79,99 for it while sendit.com (online) only had me pay £32,99, that's a wee bit strange.

Oh, I just found season 5 for £59.99 with free delivery. Which for some reason seemed really cheap to me so I ordered it. (Now I just need season 1...)

I know I have Season 4 and 6 of Buffy and Season 3 of Angel and they cost alot. It seems to be a little cheaper on the internet and if you catch a really good sale then it's worth getting. I want to get all Buffy and Angel episodes but the money will be kinda hard to get. Once I turn 16 and get a job it will be a little easier. Plus my birthday is in 32 more days. I can't wait!

You could always try EBay :judge: , they usually are quite cheap, most of them are brand new and sealed. But be careful if you do buy as some of them are different regions. Most of the sealed new ones are region 3 (Asia). :teeth:

When I was checking out ebay I found that the shipping and all that was really expensive.. Which kinda made me dislike ebay, because I thought I would be able to buy things cheaper there...

Hmmm it might have been the overseas shipping price as some come from Asia.

I say if you want to get them now then buy them at £33.99, as I don't think you will find them cheaper anywhere else. Or wait for the boxset, or maybe wait and see if they do a special lower deal when season 5 comes out. Failing that you can always ask for them for your birthday or Xmas. :usa:
