Angel/Buffy Crossover of Season 6

I just started season 6 and at the end of the episode 'Flooded', Buffy mentions something about having to go see Angel. Is there a crossover episode of Angel I'm missing? I can't find which one it is on Hulu.
 
Nope, unfortunately not. Buffy had just moved to UPN so they nixed any crossovers for a while.
 
As BEG said, the change of networks meant that they coundn't have a physical crossover as had happened before. Watch the next episode of Buffy and Angel and they both briefly refer to the meeting. After that, the closest thing we have is a comic written by Jane Espenson, where Dawn, Xander and Anya discuss what they think Buffy and Angel did when they met up. It isn't canon but it's a nice little tie-in.

Yeah, its a shame but these seasons have no real crossovers at all, even the offscreen one doesn't make that much sense, I mean who called who. On Buffy, Buffy's house gets a call, in Angel, somebody calls the hotel (I think?), or am I remembering it wrong.

Really the best crossovers tend to be in S1 and 4 of Angel, although I am a fan of Spike in S5, which is kind of a crossover. 🙂
 
Well, that's kinda lame. I completely forgot that Buffy and Angel weren't on the same network after season 5 of Buffy and season 2 of Angel. Is there a reason they moved networks? Also side note, does UPN even exist anymore?

Yeah, they do it arse ways. In Angel, it's night, Cordelia rushes out saying Willow's on the phone - Buffy's alive. While in Buffy, it's day, the phone rings in Buffy's kitchen, Willow is outside of the front of the house and Buffy answers the phone.

BTVS contract with The WB was up, there were money issues and basically The WB didn't want to cough up anymore than the bare minimum, so UPN rolled in with boat loads of money.

A few years afterwards UPN and The WB actually merged and became The CW.
 
For crossover with ATS related to this narrative arc, I suggest you to watch few episodes of Angel in that order.
The last scene of "There's No Place Like Plrtz GLRB" (Season 2)
The whole episode "Heartthrob" (Season 3)
The last scene of "Carpe Noctem" (Season 3)
and the first scenes of "Fredless" (Season 3)
