Angel/Buffy Crossover?

I was wondering if anyone here could help me out. I remember seeing an episode of Buffy this season where Buffy, in a panic right after she was brought back to life, rushed off to meet somewhere. I didn't get to watch Angel this season because I was abroad, but I recently saw a re-run of Angel in which Angel learned Buffy was alive. Did SMG ever go on Angel again? I realize this is an unrealistic expectation given the fact that they are on different networks now, but stranger things have happened. Thanks.

No she didn't. There was no crossovers this season.

They just made it like they met offscreen. Like you saw Buffy on the phone and then she leaves to meet Angel. And then you somehow discover that Angel has gone to meet Buffy. But htey never showed them together. 🙂

Yeah, If you remember the Angel episode Carpe Noctem, where that old man switches bodies with Angel, at the end when everything is back to normal and Angel and Fred are talking, Cordelia comes running outside and says, "Angel, Willows on the phone. She's alive! Buffy's alive!," and Angel jumps up and runs inside and you hear Fred go "Buffy?"
