Angel/Buffy or Spike/Buffy?

I think in the very end Buffy and Angel are meant to be, so I voted for them, BUT I absolutely detest on-screen Bangel, they're just too whiny and stuff... well, to each his/her own.

the b/a relationship was played out. they did all they could together.
buffy was a teenager, a child, when she was with angel.
the relationship she had with spike, no matter how it started, it was a much more mature relationship by 'chosen'
plus, spike was a lot closer to buffy;s age than angel!!

I think the Angel/Buffy relationship was the best because it was totally true love. Angel and Buffy's feelings for each other were sooooo intense. Angel cried soooo many times over Buffy (but almost never cried for anything else ever).
Also, Buffy even says herself, "I loved him more than I will ever love anything in this world".
They are each others true love I think.
Although I did find the Spike/Buffy relationship entertaining....I think it was based more around the fact that Buffy was trying to punish herself and was confused about why she was brought back to earth. It was a really violent, though passionate relationship but you can see that Buffy lost alot of respect for herself because of it. I think the whole Spike trying to rape Buffy kinda soured me a little too.

I hate the Buffy/Spike relationship because of how Buffy treats him But i LOVE SPIKE. And I hate Angel and I hate seeing Angel win anything so I voted on the Spike side.

I hate the Buffy/Spike relationship because of how Spike treats her; stalking, blackmailing, and raping. Those things are never a turn on in the circle of well ... people.

For the record he didn't rape her, it was attempted rape. I know it is still terrible, but he didn't have a soul at the time. I am not a big Spuffy shipper, but why does Angel get a get out of jail free card for Angelus's sins, but Spike gets drilled for what he did without a soul. I don't get it.

Because Spike without a soul is practically the same as souled spike (I don't mean in season 2 & 3). But after he got his chip it kinda acted as a soul to a point where when he got a soul he did not change that much, So it is harder to tell the difference between the two, whereas Angel and Angelus are totally different.
