Angel compilation DVDs to be released in August

Four DVDs featuring four favourite characters.

Out on 8 August are four DVDs that showscase four of your favourite characters from Angel.

The four titles, devoted to Cordelia, Wesley, Gunn and Fred, feature their best episodes - hand-picked by creator Joss Whedon.

Here's what episodes Whedon has chosen:

Cordelia: City Of, There's No Place Like Plrtz Glrb, Birthday, Waiting In The Wings


Wesley: Parting Gifts, Guise Will Be Guise, Loyalty, Sleep Tight


Gunn: Warzone, First Impressions, That Old Gang Of Mine, Double or Nothing


Fred: Over The Rainbow, Fredless, Supersymmetry, Shiny Happy People

The DVDs also feature a profile of the characters.

I'm assuming that these will be Region 2 releases until someone tells me otherwise, as the info was on the BBC Cult site. They sound as if they will be similar to the Buffy "character" DVDs.

OK I really wish we would get those here! I have been waiting for the Buffy character ones for ages...no dice. That's great that they are doing Angel ones though.

I won't be getting them (can't afford to buy the same eps twice) but they sound good, they've chosen good episodes (but in fairness they can't go wrong unless they'd chosen Harm's Way)

Hey. I loved Harm's Way. It shows that Harmony can even lighten up an Angel epi.

That's cool that they're releasing the character episodes. And they did pick really good episodes. I'll have to think about buying them. 🙂

Collectors or really die-hard fans I would assume. I would buy them.

I will be getting some money (i am broke) and THEN I'll buy them! Especially since one of my discs is scratched so I can't watch Parting Gifts and that one is soo funny so, yep. I'm a-buying!

Well, I so want these.. I mean I have all the Buffy and Angel DVDs but I've thought about buying the Faith box and the Willow box lots of times... Thank god I haven't, 'cause I so don't need them but... When I see them online or at a store I cant' help myself, I so want them, lol... (Don't buy them Epo, don't buy them!)
