Well looks like Angel is getting the same treatment as Buffy, as a complete series box set is due out at the end of October.

The rrp price is £149.99 (which strikes me as odd, wasn't that Buffy's rrp?) and will be released on the 30th of October. No further details, but I'd imagine it'll be similar to the Buffy one.

Buffy was about £200 (I think) but I got it from Choices Direct for £130 (I think. It was a long time ago). The saving on the Angel ones isn't as big but heck, I'm still getting them. I'm just waiting to see what Amazon price them at before pre-ordering.

I was meant to get my Buffy ones from Amazon but then my Dad forgot to click the buy button, but luckily they were £5 cheaper on Choices!

And anyone not sure, the Buffy ones came with all the extras and its fantastic, so I'm pretty sure the Angel ones will be the same. Plus, they match! Lol
 
Ah, I want I want I want... dammit. But yea, I don't even have the Buffy one yet, and probably won't buy it 'til I'm rich and famous soo, have to wait I guess, hmm..
 
Good news, but not for my wallet - I promised to get it for Mrs P 🙂
 
I want it 🙁 I want the Buffy one too 🙁 In Aussie dollars thats like $345!! 🙁 I'm upset now...If anyone was thinking, I'd definatley accept it as a gift {hint hint} lol 😉.
 
I was so excited when I saw this, oh it would be so great to have! Hm, maybe if I save some money.. *working out a money-saving-plan*
 
After reading how much the whole series would cost, I'm glad that I split up all the purchases in buying the original seasons when they came out in the US. I know that it turns out to be about the same price, but spending just a little bit every six months just makes you feel better.

Allthough, after reading that there are extra features on the whole series set, that kinda miffs me!
 
I presume they'll be like the Buffy ones and include all the extras that were on the seperate box sets. Plus the Buffy one came with a lovely letter from Joss and a special book with Joss' unique top 10 Buffy episodes (unique cos there was 12)
 
It is now listed on play.com at £127.99 ( HERE ) and don't tell Mrs P but I've gone and ordered it for her...not a lot of Christmas shopping for me to do this year...hehehe

The Buffy set was a limited Region 2 edition so I doubt you can still get them but it may be worth a look round to see if anywhere still has them...Choices Direct are advertising their version of it but it isn't the limited edition with the letter from Joss as far as I can see ( see it here)

Bugger! They all seem to have it cheaper now - even play.com where I ordered - guess I should've waited a few days 🙁

Cancel and re-order/order elsewhere. Bada bing, less bang on the wallet!

Yay! I'm so glad they lowered the price. Now to check if they lowered the price I'm paying...

I checked my order again and it is now at the lower price, phew!...if they keep going like this they may end up paying us 😉
