What the fanficcers thought; Read a nice one where Lilah goes to drown her sorrows in a bar after breaking up with Wes and runs into Kate who is leaving LA that night. They get drunk together and end up hooking up

Questions and observations;
The shortest teaser ever, Angel basically storms off the roof lashing out at everything on the way down. Wes and Lilah break up and never get back together. Lilah actually shows some pity for Gavin describing him as 'Poor bastard'. Lorne and Gunn's idea that maybe Connor isn't linked to the beast and it's just the mystical hotspot behind Caritas is actually pretty sound, rare that anyone tries to 'Scully' Angel (well maybe Sheryl Crow?). Are the zombies actually a satire of corporate life? Angel says he has a photographic memory as we suspected. Why doesn't Lilah try to put a round in the Beast's eye? Love Lorne's little look at his drink when the AI appear back in the Hyperion foyer.
WR&H want to work with the beast but he's having none of it. Maybe good always defeats evil because good always works together and evil always turns on one another.
Marks out of 10; 7/10

I lol'd at Lorne's look when they get back. It was as if to say "Did this stuff finally work?"

The episode was so bizarre. I'm not saying it's a bad thing.

Awesome episode! Lots of unanswered questions spring up in this episode unless in the next things come to light which I cannot remember but will as I'm rewatching at the moment. Lorne's look at his drink was a cracking moment, and when Angel told Cordelia to get out fricking loved it. So many slaughtered at W&H couldn't get over the amount that ended up dead. The Beast hands down wins being the demon who destroys more humans than anyone else. I wander if 'Files and Records' woman managed to survive, haha. I love how Lilah survives again, she got through some pretty traumatic slaughters.

How on earth does The Beast get to the white room? And why do all the employee's at W&H become zombies? I guess it's in there contract, a bit like Lilah/Holland but they come back normal because of there position.

That episode was scary! I'm hugely terrified by zombies. I can handle movies with vampires, werewolf, ghost, even something like Saw (even tough I will never ever watch that again)...but when it's about zombies...Those creatures never walking alone, half rotten, coming at you with all their zombuddies...It's just so creepy!

So, the slaughter in Wolfram&Hart was dreadful (I was already "shocked" with the Darla-Drusilla-Wine-Massacre, but this was even more...massacrery.)
Brrr.
All those Wolfram&Hart employees were scary as zombies (but Gavin was somehow funny, as if Daniel Dae Kim enjoyed walking with an empty look saying "Aaaah".)

Oh, and with this episode, I really realized that I love Lilah!
I thought "No, she can't die. Not her."

I love this eps. The Beast is the best demon i've seen in the Buffyverse and he shows off his badassness by killing everyone at W&H.

I also love the zombies. It made the eps amazing and left me wondering how they're going to get out of that alive!

Angel's outfit is great in this eps and I like how he handles seeing the zombies. He's all "oh, a building full of zombies...whatever"

Not a bad episode..I was just wondering...Cordelia was herself when she slept with Connor, didn't she? At the end of Spin The Bottle, she told Angel she remembered everything and THEN slept with Connor..right? I'm not trying to raise an argument..it's just been a while since I've seen this and wanted to make sure of this detail..(if we can call it that)...It was just something that came to mind remembering how Angel yelled her to get out, that's all. 🙂

Honestly I think everything "Cordy" did after her return from being a higher being is highly questionable and not necessarily the actions of our Cordy at all.

Uhm...I don't know what's gonna happen next since it's my first time watching Angel..I left it at the first episodes of season weeks ago and only now I'm picking up where I left so I hope that's gonna be an explanation for why she acts so different than Cordelia..could be the shock? I have no idea...but all the time, I'm kinda angry at her..poor Angel.

Careful coming to these threads when you haven't yet finished watching at least this season. And, unless you want to have the story ruined (which might not be so bad, considering Angel s4 is the worst story arc of any Whedonverse show), you should really watch out when you ask a question like that. Without giving away anything, I'll just say that it will all be explained (poorly) around episode 16 or so.

Oh don't worry...I already know the general things that happen on Angel (like deaths or stuff like that) because I read the summaries years ago when I had no intention of watching Angel...I watch it because I feel like I need to now but I asked just because I'm not worried about someone spoilering things for me...I don't really care about that when it comes to Angel... (other tv shows I'll avoid threads like these at any cost) but thanks for warning me 😀! So I'll get an explanation in the end...Thanks so much for the info!

This episode is AWeSOME! It was not one that I had seen in original airing OR in re-runs on tnt. I was seriously SHOCKED when everyone became Zombies, and the takeover of Wolfram & Hart (by Angel Investigations) made more sense because of this slaughter.
The Beast was seriously NO JOKE as a monster... he tore through everything and anything that got in his way. Including almost everyine in Wolfram & Hart (super amazing)

and yes, Angel telling Cordelia to get the hell out is awesome. If she had remembered everything, remembered that she as on her way to meet Angel. Remembered they were in love, then here sleeping with his son was just a downright dirty thing to do. Which is why I think Angel got so upset and jealous. How do you love someone one day then bang their son the next? 🙂
