Angel ep by ep; NOT FADE AWAY-the last hurrah!

I can understand people being frustrated with the ending but other than that what more would you have wanted?

I think it has to do with the fact that the ending wasn't built up for as long as the Buffy one was. I'm not saying the Angel ep was just okay 'cause the Buffy one was brilliant though, what I mean is that I think Not fade away could have earned some points by the viewers having to know about Angels plan sooner. The last couple of eps also seemed kind of cut short to me. I didn't mind it ending with us not knowing, but some of the storylines that came about in the last minute just seemed really strange to me, and kind of took away a little from the ending, 'cause of the way they effected the final story and how I viewed it. (Like Nina - what the heck?). I also think the ep would have been better if it had been a bit longer, the fighting scenes never really got to me 'cause they all happened so sudden and then was cut - if they had stuck with it a little longer I would have been more effected. But it wasn't a bad ending, just not a ending I thought was worthy of such a great show.

As you hear I completly disagree about Not fade away being the better of the Buffy and Angel endings. 🙂 Chosen is my absolute greatest tv moment of all time and I think it always will be. It's a brilliant episode. Absoultely brilliant, and one of the most beautiful endings ever imo. 🙂

I watched "Not Fade Away" more recently than i have "Chosen". In terms of what episode i prefer in regard to the two show finales well i find it being similar to my views on the Spuffy and Bangel argument. I'll watch "Chosen" and immediately after i'll think right i prefer that to "Not Fade Away". Then i'll watch "Not Fade Away" and think that might be better than "Chosen".

When it comes down to it i like both finales. I like both the Bangel and Spuffy ship. Its hard for me to pick a favourite meaning that whatever episode i watched last will stick in the mind more and so i'll prefer that one for the time being. It might sound crazy but regard to them two questions, whichever episode i watched last or whatever season i watched last usually has a major bearing on what i prefer at an exact moment.

I prefer Chosen to Not Fade Away but I think it was perfectly in keeping with Angel the character and the series
