Wonderful reintroduction for Wes and a nice period of mourning for Doyle. Plus Cordy's audition and the Oracles again.
The Bad;
Once again, Alexis Denisoff's name is in the titles, ruining the suprise a little
Best line:
"Grass stains!" (all in the delivery). Also liked Wes "I bet you always wondered what became of your old pal Wesley?"

Questions and observations;
Another WR&H lackie but this one doesn't become a recurring character. Angel says that vamps don't sleep in coffins but Dracula does. Angel recognises talent when he sees it, Wes' translation skills alone make him invaluable.

Just watched this again. Wesley is just too funny and a welcome lol in this episode and W&H are getting around a bit now. Loved Cordy in this ep too, making them bid higher for her eyes haha.
 
Hmm. Don't like this episode much, but it's refreshing to see Wesley again, but then again I never liked him that much. Barney's speach to Cordy about Doyel's gift really made me think.
 
Love the return of Wesley, a great character. I like both clumsy Wesley and how he developed in Angel, which was into a skilled fighter who earned the respect of Angel and gained his friendship as well as the others in AI.

Angel was definately a better show with him involved. The move suited his character much like it did with Cordelia, as it allowed him to become a central figure away from Buffy where Giles already had the role he could have filled.
 
Loved this episode was still sad to see Doyle go but was so excited to see Wesley. Angel and his moment was hilarious and that outfit he was wearing and the bike it was just a good episode.

@ Princess Buffy I always liked when he gave her that speech even though he turned out to be a not so good guy.
 
Well, I'm still grieving Doyle, but this was a good intro for Wesley. Not the most exciting episode in season 1, especially after the 2 previous ones (then again, maybe we needed a break from the high emotions of IWRY & Hero). Lots of funny lines, though. CC was excellent in the audition scene, I was LMAO at that one. I love the part at the end where they're eating eggs. Demonstrates the big "creating family" theme of AtS.
