Questions and observations;
What exactly does Angel do with the Watcher's team? Surely Kate must lock them up for turning the streets of LA into a bulletfest? Nice to see that Wes and Buffy are now on good terms, unfortunately this probably marks the nadir of the Buffy/Angel romance and the Kate/Angel relationship. Jelly doughnut's again, someone in the writing staff must have a thing for them. Buffy has the worst timing ever when walking in on Faith and Angel. How does Giles find out about Faith? Sources in the Watcher's council or do Wes or Cordy phone Sunnydale. Good acting by Wes, you really think he might have sided with the Watchers for a moment. How can Wes and Buffy just walk into the police station?

^ Yes, that's what I always think. And the rooftop scene was so heart-to-heart. I love it. And gosh, Buffy saved Faith from the bullets. She just forgot everything and did the right thing. She just "We can make it to another side of building". She even told Faith to wait there and she went to kick Collin's ass.

Poor Angel. When Buffy said she will beat Faith to dead and Faith replied "Go ahead", he came to protect Faith. It's not like Buffy gonna hit her. She was more confused and surprised. Same goes with the scene on the rooftop, when she said "Shut up". Then she didn't know what to say next.

I was surprised when Wes revealed that he's not helping those Watcher guys. Wes became more and more awesome. 🙂

Lee's line about 'assassination' is funny.

10/10 for giving me the good redemptional Faith. 🙂

Faith was good in this episode, I'm glad she did the right thing in the end. I loved how Buffy was with Riley back then but she showed how she still cares about Angel 🙂 Oh, I think I'm never going to get over them 🙂

And my favourite quotes is this:

"That's great. - It's nice - you moved on. - I can't. You found someone new. - I'm not allowed to, remember? I see you again it cuts me up inside and the person I share that with is me! I thought it was OK, but I didn't like that Buffy was in it. I always find Buffy to be really annoying when she guest stars on Angel. Like when she hit Angel, and she acted mortally wounded and offended he hit her back. Sexist much? If she thinks it's some horrible crime for someone less strong than her to hit her, then she shouldn't hit him. Double standards are not cool. 😀 Also, I disliked Buffy's completely jealous behavior. It seemed that she was more annoyed about Angel hugging another woman than Angel hugging a criminal. And then, at the end when she started going off about her new, trusted, lovable boy toy. Honestly, it was like she was trying to make him jealous. I agree with Angel on that one:

"You don't know me anymore. So don't come down here with your great new life and expect me to do things your way. - Go home!"

Perfect example that they've both pretty much moved on already.

How come? I ask because it seems like a very non- Bangel quote to me, a quote I'd happily use to argue against Bangel. 😀 I interpret it as saying that they both need to move on, they can't be in each others life anymore, he doesn't WANT her in his life, and stop trying to control me, we're not dating.

She seemed to have this attitude like it was all about her problems with Faith, how there was no hope for Faith, and how she went through all this gut-wrenching pain because of the things that Faith did. She didn't seem to give a flying flip about Faith's fate- She only seemed to care that Faith was brought down... Then she tried to impress upon Angel how she had moved on and made it come off like she didn't care so much about Angel's feelings; like an attitude of "my life is better now, now that you're gone and I have someone else"-kind of thing...

I just felt Buffy really turned into a first-class bitca! (LOL!)

Well, it was Angel's show and he has to be the good guy here, that's why Buffy sounds a little bitchy. But go right now and see The Yoko Factor and you'll see that in Buffy's show she is more pleasant. That's all.

Give Buffy a break, Faith rapes Riley, threatens Joyce and tries to steal Buffy's life. You can't her for being sore. But she and Faith will always kiss and makeup, much like she and Angel always will

It wasn't rape because Riley thought she was Buffy, and it was consensual. Buffy was more than sore. She acted like it was all about her and how she was wronged and didn't even listen to what Angel had to say. She wouldn't even let Angel explain his motives.

I really wish you hadn't worded it that way, saying Faith raped Riley. Some people are very sensitive to that subject (like me)...

Buffy was a bitch in this ep, and also still had a bit of an attitude in Yoko Factor. She should feel lucky Angel came to her and apologized even though he didn't need to. Buffy might have had a tough time of late but no need to take it out on Angel. And i wouldn't say Riley was raped.
9/10 for the ep though. I love the Council Special Ops team.

Also, not too happy about Faith going to jail. A chosen one like her could do so much more good being free, working for Angel and saving lives. Instead of pointlessly rotting away in a cell.

I really really like this ep. Still... Buffy always ends up seeming like such a bitca on Angel.

It should be noted that this is the only time she describes her feelings towards Riley as "love," if I'm correct. I know she never actually tells him directly.

Faith is *such* a great, deep character. I *love* her!

Absolutely, Riley would never have sex with Faith, she tricks him into it. As for Faith in prison she needs to go there to get her head straight, she'll come back, better and stronger.

Which is still rape, just as arguably Tara is by Willow. It's the equivalent of a burglar sneaking into someone's bed and the person there consenting to have sex with them because they think it's their partner

I don't think so. Willow and Tara were in a relationship, not strangers, so the burglar comparison doesn't work. Plus, was it even shown that Tara and Willow had sex that night? I just remember them snuggling up to each other then going to sleep.

As for Riley/Faith, I still believe that it was a trick, but not rape. That doesn't make it OK, Faith still manipulated him, but it wasn't rape.

If the genders had been reversed, it still wouldn't be rape. The nerds mind-controlled Katarina to be their sex slave. Faith just pretended to be somebody else. The latter is still a horrible thing to do, but it's not rape.

I was referring to the end of "All the Way", just after Willow wiped her memory.

As for Fuffy, I don't think you can beat the Bronze scene in Bad Girls:cheering:

That scene's hot, but I still prefer the kisses in Graduation Day and Enemies and the window-heart in Bad Girls.

Remember after Faith killed the deputy mayor and buffy said faith couldnt come out directly about it, and now when angel says what faith was doing was a cry for help and buffy said "if you want help, you say "help".

Also notice how buffy killed before and ran away to LA, what faith has done now (albeit for partly different reasons) is more or less the same--shes running from the pain and confusion- except buffy had her mom and the scoobies to fall back on, faith had nobody. Allthough faith had a terrible childhood, which no doubt effected her sanity to a significant degree, maybe if she had the same support she may not have gone as far as she did. Well, it puts everything in perspective.

And with the whole faith saga do you no0tice how trust seems to be a re-occuring theme ? from wesley being angry that giles didnt fill him in on things, how faith not trusting anyone, from the watchers council not really trusting the scoobies or giles, to willow not trusting faith, to buffy not trusting, well, etc etc
