Do you think Lindsey knew what happened between Eve and Angel in "Life of the Party"? I don't... Given Lindsey's history with Angel and how much the two hated each other at times, I doubt he knew 'cause I could see him going into a jealous rage on Angel. Lindsey seemed to truly care about Eve... I think it would have driven him over the edge to know that Angel got there with his girl. 😉

To me it seemed like Eve was the only one emotionally invested in their relationship. I think Lindsey was just using her to get what he wanted, so I doubt he'd care if she slept with Angel.

He was infatuated with Darla, even knowing her past with Angel. When he came back, he was remarkably well informed. Think of the contacts he must have. I don't think it's possible that he'd let Eve ruin his plans, so it wouldn't surprise me if he had people reporting on what she was getting up to. She was a messenger from the Senior Partners, after all, and that could be both a huge asset and a huge liability for him.

But I prefer the thematic pay-off of him knowing. Everything he does, everyone he tries to claim as his own, it's all been cast off by Angel. And he knows it. And it kills him.

I do agree with inthedoorway, however. It always looked to me like he was using Eve to get to Angel. I didn't get the same kind of infatuation from him as with Darla.

If he did knew, I don't think he really cared. It was a spell, nobody involved could help it. It was completely meaningless.

Also, unless Lindsey put 24 hour surveillance on Angel, I don't see how he would know of it. Eve probably wouldn't tell, seeing how all "you think this is the first spell I've been affectd by" she was. Clearly, the whole Angel thing meant nothing to her.

It's not the fact that she wanted it that he would have been torn up about - it's the simple fact that Angel got there first. Again.

You don't think this is something he'd try and do? Even without that, Spike was at the party, and there is no way he wouldn't have told everybody he met about what happened to Angel that night. In graphic detail.

That is exactly my point... I think even if he didn't care about Eve that much it would have driven him insane to find out Angel once again took something that was his. I think it would have been an interesting confrontation. 😀

No, I don't think Lindsey ever found out. I can't imagine why either Angel or Eve would tell him. Eve didn't care, and Angel preferred to pretend it never happened. And, after all, Lindsey does say something to the effect that Eve was the only thing of his that Angel hadn't gotten his hands on, and that was said after what happened in "Life of the Party."

Oooohhh, I forgot about that line!! Craziness... LOL So there's more proof that it probably would have been Lindsey's ticket to Crazyland if Angel or Eve had let it slip... 🙂
