Angel & Faith #2 or Buffy #2?

Which #2 was better: Angel & Faith or BtVS?

Angel and Faith #2. With the tight focus on two characters, there's a good combination of sensitive characterization, plot and action. Strangely, Angel and Faith are more sympathetic leads, for me than Buffy is, at the moment. I think the way they are tying everything back to Giles gives A & F alot of resonance, whereas mentions for Giles are strangely absent so far in the Buffy comic. All we hear about is the consequences of the seed being destroyed. I have to guess where the characters are emotionally in Buffy #2, whereas A & F's feelings are dealt with in some depth.

A&F was better. But I can't say I'm really impressed by either.
 
I thought #1 of Buffy was better than #2. The Xander/Dawn scene in #2 ruined the issue for me. But overall, I find myself excited for the Buffy comic more because it's dealing with new storylines. I'm really interested about this new magicless world, how vampires are treated as persons, this new male slayer, and the changes in all the characters.

I love how tight the writing is in A&F, but I dislike how the storylines are not as fresh as the Buffy ones. Bringing back a character from the dead has been done before. Maybe because it's mostly Angel and Faith (and Nadira) I guess I want more characters.

Couldn't agree with this more.

The Angel & Faith series is just an infinitely more interesting and enjoyable read at this point.
 
While I'm loving the A&F story I think Buffy is better.

One reason is that while I'm pretty sure I know where the first arc of A&F is going, it's clear Buffy is going to be a wild ride.

Also, the inter-personal relationships are resonating more with me in Buffy because they are deeper all the way around. Faith feels tremendous gratitude toward Angel but they haven't developed, at this point in time, the same bonds that bind the BtVS players.
