I think after things settle down Angel should go into family therapy with Connor. It would be funniest if the counselor had no knowledge of the supernatural.

CONNOR: So why don't I have grandparents Dad?
THERAPIST: What's he mean Angel? Do you not keep in touch with your parents?
CONNOR: He ate them!
ANGEL: Well to be fair... they'd be long dead by now anyway...
What about you? What you did with Cordelia?!?
THERAPIST: Who is Cordelia?
ANGEL: Connor's mom was out of the picture after he was born. Cordy and I were in love and she helped me raise Connor.
THERAPIST: So she was like his surrogate mother?
ANGEL: More or less.
THERAPIST: Then what did Connor do to her?
ANGEL: They had sex... right after her other lover stabbed me in the neck.
CONNOR: I never knew Cordy as a mother since you let Holtz take me away!
THERAPIST: Who is this Holtz?
ANGEL: Holtz was a mentally unbalanced middle-aged man. Since Connor's Mom, his biological mother, and I kind of abused and killed Holtz' wife and daughter he took Connor as some kind of revenge-deal, he's British, I think it might have been some kind of British honor thing.
THERAPIST: .......

Hell, Connor and Angel defs need to have a special session where they invite spike, wesley and gunn.... mann these boys have problems. Actually for all being men, they're kinda all really emotional eh. Actually I know Angel has always been viewed as "a business" compared to Buffy which was like 100% friends... but I totally think the boys of Angel love each other, even if they can't admit it.

edit: oh lol just to clarify I don't mean that in a slash fiction type of way or anything 😛
 
after a short break the session continues... they still had one topic left to talk about:

THERAPIST: ... so he didn't raise you then?
CONNOR: No, that was yet another man. Angel had my memories altered and had me adopted.
THERAPIST: Why did you do that, Angel?
ANGEL: Connor flipped after he killed Jasmine. I wanted to do it myself, but he didn't let me.
THERAPIST: Who's Jasmine.
CONNOR: My daughter with Cordelia.

Yep, that what I ment,...poor therapist! lol
Oh man, this is so hilarious 😀

I think you should also work in that theoretically, in vampire terms, Darla is Angel's 'mother', but also Angel's 'granddaughter', which leads to Darla being Connor's mother and grandmother 😀
 
If you work that angle, Spike is Angel's great-grandson... yet they are rivals because of some woman, and Connor is Best Hellmates 4 Life with his nephew Spike.
