Will they ever make an Angel videogame? Don't know. Maybe someone around here has news on that. I like Chaos Bleeds. I've heard from real gamers that it's relatively lame, but I like. Like the fight moves engine, the story...
They should make an Angel game. Wouldn't even have to advertise much. Just notifity a few websites and word will spread among the fanatics in no time. It's a limited audience no matter what, so...
I think they could use the same engine as Chaos Bleeds. Or the group-dynamic engine of X-Men Legends would be good. I can imagine a scenario where the plot is totally compressed: one level of a game could be a season of the show. Angel&Co dust and eviscerate the baddies and graduate to the next level. So, end of 1st level, they graduate to the Hyperion, stay there for a few levels, then finally graduate to WR&H. Could have Lorne doing sarcastic one-liners over the action. One section could even be in Pylea. They wouldn't have to play the series out exactly, but I think the graduation idea could be cool. I'm just thinking about how Spidey managed to encounter several of his nemeses in that second movie related game of his--very compressed story, still fun.
Or they could just create an epic "missing episode" and that's the thread for the entire game. What's a good Angel videogame scenario for you?
I'm lousy at formulating plots, but just had another idea. It could be sort of a quest game, which is really like what Chaos Bleeds was. This quest would be to find Angel's soul and reensoul Angelus. Team Angel would have to fight off Angelus as well as save Angel.
Or that could be just the first few levels of the game. First reensoul Angel, then Angel&Co have to figure out who's responsible for all the soul-stealing shenanigans and go beat the crap out of them.
I think whatever scenario they use, it must somehow involve zombie gorillas.
