Angel has wrapped

I believe I am correct in saying the Angel crew wrapped filming today of Episode 22, the series final episode (It won't be coming back for a new TV series, despite the efforts of those who tried to save the show).

Obviously, the final episode will still need to be scored and edited together, and a few final touches added, but for the most part, the end of Angel is pretty much now.

So, I just wanted to offer my personal thanks to everybody involved with Angel, from the excellent work of the cast over the years, to the film crew, directors, writers, producers, even the lighting guys and everybody else who worked their arses off day (and often night) for 5 full years to bring us a fabously piece of entertain I will treasure.

I wanted to say Thanks to everyone involved with Angel and also the once who tried to save it aswel! My tuesday nights wont be the same anymore! mmm..this is so saddening ::crying::

Angel did wrap last week - see Kristen at E!Online for more details and some bad news. But she did confirm that they wrapped on Friday. On Wed or Thurs., Space, Canada's SciFi channel, spoke to him when he won a Spacey. See below:

Spike won the best male character in the Spacey awards (Canadian sci fi awards) and JM gave the most wonderful speech. He said it made his day and it was filmed on one of the days last week when they finished up shooting. he closed with Canada rocks!!! And we do love him. And Angel won for best tv series. And they did a little silly tribute to Buffy - in memorium but the VP of one of the online fan clubs. Very silly but also touching.
