Angel invitation question regarding Giles Apartment

Has Angel ever been in Giles apartment because he would need an invitation right? So how did he get in there in the Passion episode to put Jenny's body in there.

Presumably he had been invited off-screen at some point when he had a soul. Giles was just about to do the dis-invite spell when tragedy struck, so he was aware that Angel could enter his home.

I kind of assumed that he had been there as well, I believe it was in the Prophecy Girl episode when Giles makes a phone call to an unknown recipient talking about the Pergamum Codex and the prophecy regarding Buffy's death, it was Angel that Giles had called. I was left with the assumption that if Giles had Angel's phone number then apparently they talked from time to time probably about whatever oddities were occurring in Sunnydale at the time. With that in mind, it is not unreasonable to think that Angel had been to Giles' apartment at some point.

Hmmm, it's an interesting question - he wasn't invited back inside until Amends in S3, but we never saw him invited inside first time around...

I guess we're left to understand that it happened off-screen, as @HellmouthPodcst said, between Prophecy Girl and Passion it was sure to have happened at some point.

As an aside, even though Cordelia was in fear about her car, the invitation issue is obviously not relevant, since he didn't need an invitation to come in a car (unless she was living in it LOL!). So yes, she most surely should have been scared, but she should have felt that way regardless, because he could have come in her car even if she hadn't previously invited him.

I believe that maybe Angel was invited into Giles' apartment sometime offscreen near the end of Season One...to the begining to Season Two. I'm not sure why but it just seems likely to me.

I thought I remembered Angel being invited in Giles apt previous to him losing his soul in season 2. Hmmm seems I'm wrong though.

I guess I just assumed that Angel had been previously invited hmph now that's gonna bother me. I wish they showed it.

Angel had never been invited into Giles' home onscreen up until Amends, that's for certain. There's no reason why he couldn't have been invited (and later de-invited) offscreen though.

I'm sure he was invited off-screen. In Passion, Giles mentions that he will do the de-inviting ritual later that evening, which was the exposition that told the viewers that Angel had been invited into his place at some point.
