who else is sick of spike?
i mean, he was an awesome character in the second and third seasons, even in the forth season when he got the chip he was still pretty cool.
somewhere mid-season five he started turning all good-guy and dawn's babysitter and started following buffy around everywhere, but then i could still stand him..
but in season six he just became angel jr, except more annoying. he's not anything like he used to be, he's not evil anymore, he's just buffy's little whipping boy. just replace 'soul' with 'chip' and he's the same thing. sometimes i wish xander did kill him last season ;\

still, he kicked ass when he was the bad guy ..memories 😱

I worship spike,how can you say that you are sick of him??!then again,I suppose thats just what your opinion but how can you be sick of spike,I didn't think that was possible!!
 
I'm not sick of Spike, but he did get on my nerves ALOT last season. I just thought the whole storyline was weird how he was totally obsessed with Buffy overnight, esp when he had no soul. I'm a b/a shipper, so I hated the Buffy/Spike thing. I don't think I'll ever be sick of Spike though, just a bit annoyed at times! And you're right about when he was bad! He was so funny in the old days 😀
 
i just don't like him anymore. they changed his character too much, and i really disliked the who buffy/spike thing.
rather than get a soul, i actually would have preferred him to be turned human, for some reason. i know this would just change his character even more, but at least he wouldn't be angel junior then.

also.. i misspelled 'again' :X
 
Gotto agree with revenge demon Spike was so much better when he was evil than he was when he was all obsessed over Buffy. Also Buffy/Spike was maybe the worst thing Joss ever did on the show. They find some way of turning him evil like now.
 
i too agree with revenge demon about spike being angel Jnr, and being buffy's whipping boy, when she wants him, he comes a runnin' i too think that they should revert back to the spike we all love in season 2.::wave::
 
Spike had to grow as a character because you can't keep him the big bad forever. If he hadn't changed Buffy would have staked him and he couldn't have stayed on the show and made us all very happy.
 
Sellthekids got it spot on i just chose clem because i think spike with a soul will suck. I think a dawn-clem relationship would go down well dont ya think?
 
Spike was so hilarious when he was evil. But now that he obsesses over Buffy day and night, he's kind of pathetic. He's still funny sometimes, but I miss the evil Spike. The fact that I'm a Buffy/Angel shipper kind of adds to the fact that I liked Spike evil... but that's besides the point. 😀
 
Spike has served his purpose and its time that he was gone. When he was evil he was good, even when he got the chip he was good but now he has become pathetic. All this whining over Buffy and turning good.

It seems to me that there is nothing else they can do with this character, they should have done the decent thing and gotten rid of him on a high note when he was still great.

Dont get me wrong I have nothing against James, he is a nice guy but Spike is no longer needed. I used to be a Spike fan but now you hear me shouting at the screen when he is on.
