"I would love to do an Angel movie""I thought I'd be a great Incredible Hulk in The Avengers" "You'd have to ask Joss"-David Boreanaz

That comment excites me, a lot. :biggrin3:

I don't know if he could pull off Bruce Banner. Besides, Mark Ruffalo is almost-kinda-sorta official, I think.

I would watch an Angel movie, anyway.

Even with Joss involved, I don't think that an Angel standalone (none of the Fang Gang included) movie would really appeal to me any more than a Buffy standalone movie would. If the old gang could somehow be reassembled, or what was left of them, at least, I might be a bit more interested. Both shows were basically ensemble casts, and without their support, either Buffy or Angel would be pretty much just blundering muscle, with no real direction or plan of attack.

I would love to see a Angel movie but I am with white avenger in a way they need to have some of the old cast.

Well, the only way it could work would be as some kind of 'prequel' - in this case I guess with Darla, maybe with Spike and Drusilla. A movie revolving around Angelus and Darla could be interesting (with good, good young-making make-up and good, good accent coaching) except that we already know the crucial parts of that story so the movie would otherwise have to be a standalone, irrelevant to the main Angel story. Alternately, you might be able to do a good Angel-sans-fang-gang movie immediately following "NFA" if you scrap "After the Fall" but work in something where Angel was taken from Illyria, Spike and Gunn into, say, W&H's offices in a parallel dimension. It'd be fun to have Lilah on board, then, and Holland etc., maybe a perma-zombied Gavin... and finally meeting the Senior Partners. It's doable, but I don't know if that's how it would manifest itself.

Oh, and don't worry - it'd have Spike in it somehow. Any new Buffyverse production until the end of time will have Spike in it somehow.

Spike and Buffy could organize an interdimensional hunt and rescue expedition to rescue Angel. They could start right after they get back from their extended honeymoon.
Even though I love everything about Angel and Buffy...a movie wouldn't thrill me. I believe that some things should be left untouched.

I only want an Angel movie if it is a Buffy/Angel movie. Finally bring together the two casts and make something big and good.

Nononono. AtS was better for Angel by far than BtVS and the stories are so seperated now (ignoring the comics) that bringing them together would just be so wrong.

The charecters live in the same universe, have lived an hour away from each other for 4yrs. Might as well bring them together for a HUGE event. It is safer than just doing an Angel movie. Plus the comics would probably be ignored if there were a movie.
