Inflicting a whole episode of Angel singing on the audience would truly be unforgivable. Its funny to laugh at him when he sings for a minute, but after a few songs I'd be more terrified than amused.

That being said, it would be a great showcase for Lorne's talents. I've always loved his voice. Gunn can sing too; I'm not to sure about Fred though.

All in all, I'm fine with not getting a musical episode.

I probably already said this, but just that one scene where Gunn is singing a piece of Gilbert & Sullivan (until he realizes Wesley hears him, and switches to self-conscious rap) showed me that he has a gorgeous singing voice. I'd love to have heard more of it.
 
Wouldnt have worked. Lindsey and Lorne could sing. Angel, Gunn, Wes, Fred and Cordy..... couldnt sing.
