Angel or Angelus - who do you like more?

You know, I actually like him a lot in Angel S4. The whole reasoning for him reverting back to Angelus was a little shaky, but it was very cool seeing Angelus interact with an entirely new cast of characters. I mean, the only person who'd had any experience with him was Cordy, and even that was limited on Buffy. I liked how everyone, even Wes, underestimated Angelus and just assumed that they'd be able to control him, and it all went to hell.

I'm not saying he was better than in Buffy S2 though. That was just incredible.

Yeah I love how he outsmarted them, I really didn't have any sympathy for them because they totally just played into his hands, but he almost seems sillier in S4 and less sadistic. It's amusing but...I'm just over it, whereas I rolled my eyes when he got his soul back in S2. Haha I find Angel on Buffy pretty boring so Angelus was such a nice change of pace, whereas I like Angel on AtS and his performance as Angelus isn't as strong in my opinion so I'm just ready for them to bring him back which...just happened! 😉

I never really understood why people think he's boring on Buffy. I mean, I've heard that from quite a few people, but I've never got it. I loved Angel on Buffy (um...that probably could have been worded better...)

Sooo didn't think of it that way until you said that last part 😉 and I mean he has a few funny moments but overall there is a lot of angst and ugh it gets tiring. He's usually only on screen on BtVS when they're talking about their relationship and that's just...boring haha. My favorite Angel related episode on Buffy (not counting when he's Angelus) is probably Enemies. I like his character on Buffy a lot more now that I've seen Angel, but before that...eh. Oh I also like him in Earshot.

Angelus definitely! Angel is so incredibly boring, I mean yeah I get it, he's killed a lot of people and he lives in pain, but as a TV character that just doesn't work, I don't like Angel, a spin off with Angelus would've been so much better lol

Hahah would he massacre a family every week? As much as I love Angelus...I might worry about my state of mind if I was able to watch an entire series of that 😉
