Angel Or Riley

I'd be shocked if anyone prefers Riley. I kinda liked the character, although many didn't. Sure he annoyed at times, but who didn't?

I liked the character of Riley. I liked the fact that there was another guy for Xader to hang with, and the moving boxes at the end of some episodein season 5 where Roiley tells Xander that Buffy doesnt love him, I thought that was good. So the actor Marc Blucas wasn't the most charasmatic performer of all time, but I liked the fact that he was so different from the other guys (No homosexual implications meant, lol) who were Buffys love interests.

That was my attempt at a defence.
 
I loved Riley. I thought he was better for Buffy than Angel (as I duck out of the way from everyone throwing things at me). I just really like Angel so much better when he isn't with Buffy. In season 3 it he kinda pissed me off the way he was all in love with her and couldn't be with her. I don't know I am probably alone on this one, but that's what I think.

I actually kind of agree with you he was ten times better and more interesting when he wasnt with buffy but unfortunately this wasnt mutual and riley just made buffy temporarily boring as hell
 
I just personally think Riley is boring as hell. He was just so stiff. I don't know it's probably cuz i don't like the character. or maybe it's because he was buffy's next real relationship after angel.
 
Angel was definatley better for Buffy than Riley. Riley was okay, but Angel was MADE for Buffy. 🙂

well at first i really wasnt that in to riley.
i didnt want him to take angel's place.
but than after watching them grow together i really liked em.
i easily cried when riley left in the helicopter!

I hated Riley when I first watched season 4. For me there's no one for Buffy other than Angel. There each others soulmates and ture loves.

Now I realise I was a little harsh on Riley. He wasn't too bad. He was just what Buffy needed. He was nice and safe and comfortable. But I still think Buffy should be with Angel.
 
I cant stand Riley *die die die!!!!!!!!!!* sorry lol.. hmm just a character i didnt like.. at all! Angel was .. is.. a better person.. hotter.. and well hes Angel.. :silly:

besides Bangel was hotter than Briley..

Angel is better. Tall, dark, and handsome.

And a vampire. A century+ old vampire.
 
I dunno. It just seems (to me) that him being older would make him a much better vampire. Plus he's got the whole soul thing. He's much stronger and smarter than he would be if his vampire-self was only a couple decades old. Still probably not making any sense... Sorry for not making that clear enough 😵 I'm not a professional at these things.

This is getting off topic... -cough-
