"Angel" Theme Song is more addicting than Buffy theme song

Am I the only one who thinks this? I'm completely in love with the Angel Theme song "Sanctuary" more than the Btvs theme song the Btvs theme gets old and boring after awhile imo.
 
Agreed. Angel's theme is an emotional piece of music that is fitting with the tone of his show. Compare that to Buffy's theme which is just a generic pumped-up rock piece.
 
The Angel theme tune is dark, boring and a little slow. Seems fitting 😉

Give me pumped up rock music over boring ballady stuff any old day.
 
^ I agree, I find the theme song to be too slow and boring. And the song isn't half as catchy as the Buffy theme song.
 
I loved the Angel theme song, one of my goals is to learn it on my cello at some point. It's definitely different in terms of title soundtracks but I think it's a beautiful piece of music.
 
Nope! 😀 I like the Buffy theme song waayyy better. And it's insanely addicting to me, I never get tired of it. Every episode hearing that song pumps me up and I can't help but air drum to it 😛
 
The Angel theme is more sophisticated and elegant and...boring. I like hearing it, but I have never and will never get tired of Buffy's theme. Ever! I love it so much more than Sanctuary, and I am huge fan of the cello and classical music but...ugh Buffy's theme gets me so pumped and it's awesome.
 
Angel theme song is definitely the best theme song of any TV show, for me personally. And the full song is amazing.
 
Upon hearing Angel's themesong for the first time, my husband insisted it was basically a [blah blah blah big musical words I don't understand] version of the Buffy themesong. ...He said it every episode. I don't remember if I ever caught on or not... but he insists this is the case; anyone else?
 
I one hundred percent agree. If I really love a theme song I don't fast forward it. I don't really fast forward Angel's unless I need to. The theme just fits with the show I think a few shows that I love do that and that is something I look forward to actually lol listening to the theme. I just love the Angel theme the music everything just fits. I like Buffy's theme but I end up fast forwarding it. I think I would rank it high after fnl & roswell maybe in the top three.
 
I like both, but I always have to turn the volume down when the BtVS theme song plays, because it's just too loud. Compared to the rest of the show's music and dialogue, that is. Kind of disproportionate. But I think in the long run, the AtS theme song holds up more. Much more fun to re-listen to. Plus, cello.
