Angel themesong or Buffy themesong?

So which do you like better? the Angel themesong or the Buffy themesong? Me? I like Buffy as in the show better but the Angel themesong, I absolutely love! I find it more creative then the buffy song!🙂
 
Honestly i love them both i mean i do like the angel one slightly more but thats cause i like the violin sound in the beginning its great hehe and dramatic
 
It's actually cello at the start (and during) the Angel themesong.
On one of the commentaries (might actually be for the first ep. of season 1) they were talking about how it has all the sad faces, and then Angel appears all tough bursting through doors, and the music goes a bit more rockier... how they meant it to be all sad cello etc etc, and then Angel appears and wow he's so amazing he rocks the sadness away. or something like that.
I wish I were more coherrent.

I prefer the Angel one. I guess maybe cause I've watched Buffy so much more and listened to the theme song so much more I've got sick of it!
 
When i hear Buffys theme i go crazy and dance like im in a club! lol

Angel make me think about the sad things that happened on the show.
 
I love them both, but like others have said, the cello in Angel's opening credits adds a little extra to it.
 
I think Angel's had a bit more emotion. I def love it (also because its very "irish" sounding and im half irish so im biased lol).

Definitely the ANGEL theme song. But then I prefer ANGEL over BtVS anyway.

The ANGEL theme is beautiful, emotional, and fits the show perfectly. I like the BtVS theme OK but it's a little too silly, in my opinion.
 
Angel's song. It was just so... Angel. When I first heard it, I was like, "That is the perfect song for Angel!"

That said, Buffy's song is like GH's theme song: I get all excited every time I hear it. My brain goes, "Yay! It's time for my show!" Angel's song was a little too sad to get me all excited about the show.

yeah! i agree, The BtVS song is sort of happy and "yay!" LOL but the angel song is more emotional. although, I like the angel song better
Angel theme for me. I think it is the best tv theme ever. I bought the Angel sountrack on import from Amazon just so i could get a copy of it.
 
I think both songs fit the series very well. The Buffy song starting out as old-style horror organy stuff and morphing into rock of the same tune is very in keeping with the idea of the show. Buffy shifting the old style methods of slayers into her life. As Spike says: "A Slayer with family and friends. That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure." The song is in keeping with the juxtaposition of the series. Angel's theme is poignant and, also, apropo to the noir, tragic nature of the show.

As songs, though I prefer Sanctuary(Angel Theme).
 
Hmm...it's a tough call for me because I like them for different reasons. Though perhaps I lean more towards the Buffy theme. I like the opening Wolf howl and organ a la classic horro movies, and plus because it was the first show, hearing it takes me way back when. The Buffy theme gives me nostalgia face...which is probably why I lean more towards that one, Hehe.
 
I would say that I like them pretty much equally. They both fit the shows really well. When I first heard the Angel theme song I was like WOW that is so Angel because this song is so depressing and I could totally see Angel brooding to the music. But I also love the buffy song just because I start to kind of dance with the music because they always put people in the credits dancing - like Anya and Spike. So I would say both,
 
I loved the Buffy theme with its cheesey horror movie intro and then RAWK!!! but since Mrs P has had the Angel theme as her mobile ringtone for several years I'm more used to that one nowadays...and I do like that folky vibe the tune has.

In the end, it woud be Angel's.

I LOVE Buffy's, but it's hard to whistle. And I tend to watch the shows at 3 times of the day. EARLY morning...when I haven't decided to actually GET UP yet, mid afternoon when the soaps end and nothing good comes on for a few hours, and as I go to bed.
Angel's song...it works at all three times. Buffy's...not so much in the early morning or as I'm going to bed. And then there's the whistling thing.
 
I really like them both...but I like the BtVS one more. I've always loved it... I never fast forward through the opening credits because I like the song so much. It's my ringtone, and people who hear it are like "Whoa, what song is that?"

HEY! My ringtone too. Although, it makes me want to listen to it instead of answer the phone.
I think there both equally as good. I'd probably say I could listen to Angel's theme tune longer than Buffy's though.
