Angel UK channel 5???

Hi ive searched this site for this but no luck and channel 5 gratefully didnt reply to my email so here goes.

Where has Angel gone on channel 5?? Has another network at least picked it up to show in the future?

Well, I was wondering the same thing too and having just quickly searched the net found this, a member on a Firefly fan site had emailed Channel 5 about what had happened to Angel and had posted the Duty Officers response (it is from early this October):-

With regards to Angel, as we move into our new autumn schedule, we have decided to take a break with the transmission of the programme in order to try out some new programmes in the 19.30 slot. The remainder of Series 3 will return later, but at present we do not have a schedule date to provide you with.
