This was the Pilot/pitch real that Joss Whedon and David Greenwalt filmed and pitched to the WB Execs for the Angel show. Don't know if anyone has seen it or not

Thanks for posting, I've not seen this before. I'm not a fan of Angel two minute monologuing, but it was an okay clip. I especially enjoyed the music.

Gah...never noticed the music. I was too busy thinking "Shut the......". I like laconic detective Angel.

Pitch pilots don't have to sell the series to you, the viewer, they have to sell the series to network executives and advertisers. You can sample other people's work, because it will never be broadcast, and for the format, it's easier to show the type of sfx shots you want, over what you currently have the budget or time for.

I love some melodramatic Angel but even I cringed far too much watching this 😂 it’s the chuckles every now and then that get me 😂
