I have noticed in the discussions that many of you have proposed that Angel will turn into Angelous in order to fight this season's big bad. But why would he turn??? I thought the curse turned him only if he had a moment of perfect happiness...which I doubt he'll have during the end of the world or especially after viewing Conner/Cordy's little fling. Did I miss something from last season (which I missed) that revised the curse somehow?

No they didn't, but maybe they'll turn him by giving him some kind of drugs, like the actress did in 1.17 "Eternity" ... but when I saw him watchig over Cordy and Connor, the though crossed my mind that this would trigger him to become Angelus again, but the curse is still about perfect happiness!

No any moment of his happiness, when he was cursed by those gypsies Buffy didn't even excist, they could of course also fake it, with either drugs or a spell. But these "rules" never have really been clarified, so I'm basically just guessing into the wild!
Remember in S4 when the major called in the spooky guy to take away Angel's soul, so he would work for the major? Maybe the group is calling on him.

Since this is not a spoiler thread I don't think this is a good idea. Putting spoiler in general threads would make the spoiler thread redundant. Despite the fact that this information is available on many other sites and we don't really want to repeat everything???

Well, it's pretty much common knowledge that a moment of true happiness will turn Angel into a raving beast. However, who's not to say that there are not other ways he could turn too? The only way WE know about is the true happiness bit, but of course if they decide to change him into Angelous without it Whedon and Co. will make sure that the AI team will find information in some long-lost ancient text or something explaining how he was able to change again.
