Hope all is well with y'all.
Anyway, just thought I'd share and ramble. When Angel was human he was an Irish man living in Galway.By the way David Boreanaz's Irish accent is terrible, really annoys me.
He has expressed a bit of Irish Culture a couple of times that I can remember. Once he gave Buffy a Claddagh ring, and he sang a little Irish ditty to baby Connor.
But Joss is only really using the Plastic Paddy stuff. He could use so much more of Celtic Folklore which Angel would be aware of as his human self was alive when much of Celtic customs were practised. (They still are by the way.)
It would be so much more original if Joss took on Celtic legends (The Holy Grail by the way comes from Celtic Legend), Monsters, riddles, love stories, magic, evil, prohecies, alternate dimensions, they are all in there. He would not have to rip off other movies (eg the Faculty).
Anyway what do you reckon?
