Angel's Real Age

On the "Angel" series, Angel somewhere that he is something around 240 years old, then later he says that he spent 100 years in the Hell dimension that Buffy sent him to. Why doesn't that 100 years count on his age, even if he IS immortal? Even though time might pass differently there, it was still 100 years for him, regardless of where he was.

I actually thought about that at one point. I was like 'Isn't he technically a hundred years older now? Bummer'. But I don't think it's counted because those years occurred in another world and not in ours. So with alternate realities and demon dimensions and time lapses and differences when he returned to our world it was as though those years had never happened and it had just been a couple of months, just as it would have been if he'd remained in our world.

Wow, if I knew I was going to go on that long I probably would have brought some water. 🙂

Definitely agree with that. But hey, he doesn't look his age, and isn't it all about acting the age you feel? Well when he's been mostly feeling (up) girls in their early 20's, so he's obviously going to lie and say he's a whole 100years younger than he actually is. It's not like he ages badly (or at all) or anything!!
