I've seen the Buffy one before but not this one. I agree with the comment on youtube that says its more like a promo than a pilot. Its interesting. There's a lot more clips from Buffy in the unaired version. I liked that they used the shot of Angel from the Buffy episode Angel over the title shots but I can understand why they didnt keep it; its a show about a vampire that doesnt age, yet on the opening of the show you can see a shot of him from 4 years ago were he clearly looks younger.

Yeah, it does seem more like a promo instead of an actual pilot that was shown around to the company. Wonder if they will ever put this on one of the Seasons DVDs?

I think it's on one of the DVD's. I can't remember.

And yes, I don't think this is made like a ordinary pilot. Maybe they didn't need to promote it that much before actually getting the go ahead of filming?
