Angels Use of Dimensions

one thing i enjoyed about Angel over Buffy was the use of other dimensions. In Buffy demons show up and then slayed. however in Angel I believed in certain cases they took a step further, it wasnt just what kind a demon they were, it was also where they came from. I always like the way Joss Whedon treated after death by not sayin there was a heaven or hell, but there were multiple dimensions where you soul could go one of the hell dimensions or one of those heaven paradise dimensions.... i dunno maybe it is just me but i like the idea of no heaven or hell but different dimensions you can got to lol kinda comforting

BtVS used alternate and demon dimensions before AtS. Infact, the first portal leading to a demon dimension in Los Angeles was shown on the S3 Buffy episode Anne, when she rescues those homeless people from being slaves. Angel and AI do something similiar several years later with the Pylea arc.

I admit that I am much more familiar with Buffy the Vampire Slayer (I own all 7 seasons & the movie) than I am with Angel. It was an amazing series but my complete dislike for Cangel clouds my viewing pleasure. I tried many times to watch that series for the storylines and characters I loved but I found it impossible. It's too bad since I love Holtz, Lilah, Fred, Lindsey, Wesley, Gwen, etc.

I've just started rewatching Angel and its the first time i've watched it since the show aired. Really enjoying season 1 at the moment and i'am looking forward to seeing the other series as i can't remember that mnuch if i'am honest. It is good though in a sense because it makes the show more interesting to watch.
