Angelus Vs Angel?

I was wondering since Angelus wasn't really seen all that often in angel which one do you prefer?
Personally i prefer Angelus he's just so much more....funny and cool!. Yes Angel is great and i really did like him..most of the time. He just never really sprung to life like Angelus.
Anyone else agree?

Angel defenitely had his moments but as a whole Angelus is much more fun and interesting. I´d loved to have seen more of him but I´m sure I´d get tired of him if he´d been on for 8 seasons. And for you who didn´t get that. 3 seasons on Buffy and 5 on Angel. Angel evolved/changed, I doubt Angelus could. At least that much. Fun in small doses.

Definetly prefer Angelus, to me that was Angels highlights of the two series's, in s2 as Angelus and any flashback scenes with Angelus.

I love Mr BroodyPants, I mean Angelus is probably the BEST at the short stints of awesome, but I just don't think I'd love him so much if it had been Angelus every episode. It's hard to grow as a character when all you want to do is evil things... unlike Spike who was neutered and grew some depth, Angelus wouldn't have been as interesting if he wasn't the awesome undiluted evil and delicious leather pants wearing villain we came to love.

I never liked Angelus.
Not sure why. I like the flashbacks of him okay, but I can't stand it when he was Angelus in Buffy or Angel.
Maybe because he couldn't actually go around killing off the cast.
I never cared when he killed Jenny. I may have been a little shocked, but that was it. Basically, he just seemed to run about like a delinquent teenager who people were scared of, but never really doing a whole heck of a lot.
And he was just confusing. The whole "ending the world" thing....just odd.
I just never cared for him.
Angel, even with the broodiness has his moments of funny.

I never liked Angelus.

i am disappointed. le sigh. I really wanted to argue but, cant. Angel was better than Angelus. Angelus was very much a one-trick pony and got stale quick. Now 'dark' Angel, when he was burning up Darsilla was awlright.

Personally I love the Angel character especially when he finally started loosening up in the Angel series. The only time I liked Angelus was when he started being hilarious. Yes he was evil but he also had a sense of humor.

I love them both. There are good points to each of them. Angel is all hot and broody, and Angelus is all hot and evil. Mmmm...eye candy either way!

I do agree that 8 seasons of Angelus would get old, but I do love to seem him speckled throughout both of the series.

Can we combine the 2 and just put leather pants on Angel all the time?

On Buffy I'd have to pick Angelus over Angel. Angelus was legions more interesting and hotter. But on Angel I'd pick Angel over Angelus any day! Angel really came into his own on his own show, got a personality, a sense of humor... kinda... and I attribute it all to Cordy, she was able to bring Angel out of his shell more than Buffy ever could, plus she wasn't as scared and intimidaded of Angelus as Buffy was.

I think i like Angelus more because he's funny but in a darker way and those evil broody looks he has going on! "swoon!". Granted he was better in Buffy had more people to mess with and wasn't lock in a metal cage....

In Buffy, I never liked Angel until he reverted back to Angelus. He is a much better actor when playing an evil role as well, in my opinion.

I watched the Buffy series multiple times before I decided to get into Angel. It took me awhile to really enjoy it, but now I do. He is just so......monotonous. So when he reverts back to Angelus I get super excited.

I love them both, but if I had to choose between to two I'd rather take Angelus,... evil, sexy, yep, defently something I would prefer instead of Mr BroodyPants, even though he did have his moments,...yeah, he did get better as the show continued on, but still, I just loved all those 'Angelus' Moments in both shows
