It also had to do with Spike having more experience in battle then the Slayers he killed did. He was already far older and far more familiar in combat. And I think that the Slayers he fought, must have something wrong with them, whether it was their drive or how focused they were at the time. If you think about it, the Chinese slayer's people were in panic as the fight was during the boxer rebellion. Not to mention just as she was about to deliver the finishing blow on Spike, Spike got lucky and an explosion stopped her from attacking giving him the upper hand. In Niki Woods case, she was probably worried about Robbin, knowing that if she dies, then he would be all alone. However, wouldn't that increase her will to live? Giving her the edge she would need to win the battle against Spike? Perhaps she was new as a Slayer? Or maybe instead of giving her the edge she needed it made her worry more and hindered her fighting abilities?
