Anyone else read these books? (I know you do Angel Forever 😛) They are really cool, and are in some parts, very similar to BTVS. Or has anyone read any Laurell K. Hamilton books at all?
 
I've read all but the latest one & I thought they were fantastic. I've ordered the new one (the name escapes me...sorry) and hopefully should get that next week. I can't wait to read the new one.
 
Well, I hate to tell you this but the first book came out in 1993, 3 years before the first ep of buffy and the movie came out.

Willow's Girl: You'll love Cerulean Sins! I thought it was the best one so far. 😀
 
Thanks Angel'sLuv. I have just been reading the reviews of this on Amazon and some people are saying they don't like it because Anita has changed too much but from what I have read I think i'm going to enjoy it.
 
I prefer Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust, MUahahahah 😀 And if you tell me thats a rip-off ill have yer head 🙁
 
I've only read one of the books, can't remember which one, and I didn't really like it that much, 's alright.

Well, its just because she's not as goody-goody as she used to be. Her actions may have changed because she can't control them, but she is still a prude in thought. But have you read the Merry Gentry books? She's not that bad. Yet anyways..... LOL! 😛

My friend and I, who usually read the books at the same time so we can be on the phone too (its a really weird arrangement...), both really enjoyed it. Its one of those things that only someone that has read and enjoyed all the books like you and me can really understand. 😀
 
Yeah! I still like the Anita Blake books better, but the Merry Gentry ones are good too. I just think its because there are more Anita books, and they have sexy vampires. But the Merry books have a plus because they talk about majick all the time.
 
Yes, but the movie is completely different from the show and is so much more different from the AB:VH books.

ah...whatever...the whole vampire scene is over played already...everybody bites everybody...
 
I have just finished reading Cerulean Sins and it was fantastic. I couldn't put it down.

Does anyone know if there are going to be anymore? It cant end there.
 
Yeah, actually I do know. There will be 2 LKH books coming out next year, the first one a Merry Gentry book and the second one coming out in the fall is an AB:VH.

Spoilers for next AB:VH:

1. No title as of yet. 4/10/03 To be released Fall of 2004.

2. The timeline will be late October to include Halloween.

3. Newly Marshelled Larry Kirkland and Witchy RPIT Detective Tammy Reynolds get
hitched. Anita might be in the wedding party (heh.)

4. Olaf is back and Anita cannot physically hurt him. Not that she didn't try, but
something mysterious is holding her back.

5. Edward is back, soon thereafter, with backup.

5.a. LKH has not decided whether or not to use the well hung Bernardo Spotted
Horse as one of Edward's back ups.

6. Richard will be getting a new girlfriend and she's gonna be a werewolf.

7. LKH will be expanding on Nathaniel's character a bit more.

8. Mrs. Dolph will be in this story and we will see Dolph's 'monsters issue regarding
his son' be resolved.

9. Anita is going to have a pregnancy scare.

10. Richard has hit rock bottom and will be climbing his way out of the pit of depression that we have seen for the last few books.

11. Still no Micah background in number 12, but he will be in the book.
