In the Buffy Season 3 Opener, Buffy is brought down to a hell dimension by Ken, the evil teen runaway guy. In this hell dimension people age 60-70 years in as few as two-three days...Why didn't Buffy and Chanterelle/Lily/Anne visibly age even slightly since time moves at such a rapid rate???

I think that the time spent in the hell dimension felt normal at the time....while in the real world just stood still.

So people would work for 60 years of their lives..and be spit back into the world only a day later.

Since it seems that Buffy and Chanterelle only spent a day or two (if that) in the hell dimension, they only aged a day or two. If they had spent an entire year in the hell dimension, they would have aged a year. The aging of the workers was directly related to how long they spent in the hell dimension. The hell dimension was out of synch with the real world..but time didn't actually pass faster in there.

Did I confuse you? 😉

I don't know...even then they should of aged a little

I would have to say because they were only down their for a few hours that it wasnt long enough for them to start visbialy aging.

You would have to be down their atleast 2 full days-a week for their to be any visible aging I think.
 
But it wasn't that time moved fast there. You wouldn't age 60 human years in 6 months. You worked for 60 human years in the hell dimension. That's why everyone was crazy when they got spit out of it again. Because they had gone through an entire lifetime of torment. Otherwise..they'd just be old when they returned to our dimension, not crazy too.

Thus...you spent 60 human years in the hell dimension..and come back and it's only been a week or two in our dimension. The two dimensions are just out of synch....60 human years in the hell dimension are equel to a few weeks (or whatever it was) in our dimension. But you're still living 60 years worth in the hell dimension.

That's why Buffy and Chantarelle didn't age at all..they were only there for a few hours (probably a millisecond in our dimension).

Ahhh..it won't let me give you rep...but that makes sooo much sense!!! I was reading something about that eppie and it made me think...but you answered my question so I guess the thinkings done... 🙂
