OMG i am so stupid i have only just realised that anne from angel (eo blood moeny) is lily from series3 of buffy who changed her name to anne after meeting buffy, i feel so stupid now and here's something else i realised that the opening credits thing also has scenes from the first episode of series 3 of buffy, weird huh!!!
 
They would both be the same Anne's! Took me a while to figure it out when I first saw "blood money" but then I was like HEY!
 
yeh me too, except it wasn't the first time i saw blood money it was more like the fifth because im really slow like that lol!!! xox
 
Gotta admit that i got a heads up well before i saw Blood Money that Anne would be making another appearance so it wasn't a surprise to see her there for me.

That kind of unusual crossover event is what makes it so hard for me to distinguish between the two shows when i'm asked which is my favourite. To me it's just one big story in two parts.
 
Ok - I think I'm officially the most stupid among us. I just realised when I read this thread. I have a clear picture of her in my head now and I'm kicking myself very hard! I didn't notice!
 
I noticed it when I was watching my DVD's. But my question is, and I guess that I am too lazy to look it up myself, deals with the actor. Is the actor the same for the two shows? It seems like they are the same, but sometimes casting directors are very tricky.
 
Yeah she changed her name like 3 times through out the seasons of Buffy and angel, she's a great character i loved her when she played Chanterelle the vampire wanna be it was funny... then she realized how they really were...
 
It was a little tricky, cos Buffy must've really inspired Anne to get her sh** together in LA. By the time she bumps into Angel, she's running that shelter. She's like a totally different person. Much more confident, sure of herself...
 
Wow this topic has kept going since 2004...

It's a really clever link between the shows. They should have done more like it, maybe some really obscure ones that only hardcore fans would notice.
