Hey Guys!!!

Wanted to proudly announce a HUGE Buffy/Angel Event that is coming up on November 15th. Thats right! Just a few weeks away!

Here's the info from the wonderful organizers themselves on the event!! :

If you haven't signed up for The Watcher's Retreat, now is the time to do so! We've got an amazing line-up of guests and activities you haven't seen at any other fan event.

Guests include actors James Marsters, Amber Benson, Mark Lutz, Andy Hallett, Armin Shimmerman, James C. Leery, Max Perlich, Robia Lamorte, Ken Lerner, Sharon Ferguson, David Wells, Channon Roe; novelists Jeff Mariotte, Maryelizabeth Hart, Keith DeCandido; musical guests Ghost of the Robot, Jessica Jacobs, Velvet Chain, and Grant Langston and the Supermodels; and make-up artist Robert Hall. Plus more surprises!

We have tons of exciting events planned.

Friday night is out Welcoming Reception. Meet the fans, meet some of the VIPs, and listen to live music! That's right, James Marsters band, Ghost of the Robot will be kicking off this event, followed by a performance by the talented Jessica Jacobs.

Saturday there are tons of Q&A panels, signing sessions and improv games. Get a chance to ask James Marsters or Andy Hallett that burning question no one else has asked them yet. Or play a game with Amber Benson! Dinner on Saturday is a special event. You could dine in the same room as your favorite guests! Win a chance to sit near Amber Benson or James Marsters at dinner! And Saturday will come to a close with more live entertainment! Velvet Chain opens with Grant Langston to follow.

Sunday is more fun-filled Q&A panels, signing sessions and improv games. Didn't get a chance to ask a question, or missed your turn to play with the actors? Today's your day!

Robert Hall, make-up artist on Angel, has agreed to put monster make-up on a fan! Win a chance to be made up in vampire or other monster make-up on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday. And if you don't win, don't worry, all attendees will be able to watch the step-by-step process!

We're so excited about this event, and are thrilled to bring these exciting activities. We think we've put together a rare event that will bring fans an experience they haven't recieved at any other convention or fan event. We've had so much positive feedback from not only you, the fans, but the cast and crew of the show as well.

We hope everyone is excited as we are. Hope to see your sign-up soon!

California?? You know, there is a whole entire world out there...not just California...not Just New York! There is fly-over country, and yes people in "fly-over" country watch "Buffy" and they watch "Angel." There's Chicago--home of the Sox. And Indianapolis--home of the Indy 500. And Seattle.--home of the Space Needle. And Miami--home of the Tropicana. And Nashville--home of country music. And Cleveland--the city rock n' roll was founded in. And Dallas--home of the cowboys. And St. Louis--home of that arch-thingy. And you know what-- we want to be able to attend shows like this too...Or, what, is this some sort of snobbish thing. "Oh I live in L.A., I can afford to be snob and to attend events like this, because I'm cool. So, what if everyone else wants to go but can't because they don't live here. Screw em, I say!!" Oh...that's very Cordelia of you...Just remember--we will forgot, and we will always remember!!!! (rant followed by dorky super-villians laugh!)
