Annoying Ads

There are pleanty of annoying ads that are out there that disturb your tv shows ever 15 mins/30 mins. So which ones do you hate the most and make you want to throw the remote at the tv.

I tend to flick when ads are on because I hate them so much, but the one that annoys the heck out of me is esure 'Its only a commercial'. Closely followed by elephant car insurance.

What ones tick you off?
 
Is it every 15 minutes? For me, it's about every 7 or so minutes.

Basically, every commerical ticks me off, it kills the show for about 3 minutes and I have to wait! Usually, I'd change the channel but I always forget about the other show and watch the new one until commercial and get pissed off because I missed a chunk of my first show.
 
One thing I did notice from some tapes sent over from the US that they have more ads. One thing I couldn't get was they would have the titles of Buffy then have a break...whats that all about!

Yeah... that pisses me off especially, becuase when I record the show and watch it later, I see the title of it and I think it's back on so I play but it's still commercials. So basically, I get even more pissed off, but when it does come back on, I cool down during the show and get pissed off again during hte commercials. It's a never ending cycle.
 
Ringtone ads, insurance ads, Sunny Delight Ads, those ads for miracle yoghurt that emotionally blackmail parents, ads for fruit.

BBC "We know this station bites! Get digital!" ads... Ads for the Electricity Supply Board (What's the bloody point?)

OT, but the Irish station TV3 deserves props by for some nicely edited promos for TV shows. I was particularly fond of one where the TV3 couple stumble/ are edited into one show after another. They open a door and Buffy (from the Prom) rescues them, kills the hellhound, and gives them directions. It was cool.

Oh.... yeah... "Stop calling me you sister!". "Relax, it's only a commercial!" GRRRRRRRRR! So annoying.

And, "See, elephant.co.uk really can save you money on your car insurance." ARGH!

Here's another, "Quote me happy! It's a hatchback! YES!"

And that Coca Cola ad with that black woman singing and handing out bottles in the street.

KFC ads.

"Too boring? Hollow corporate shell? Don't worry, KFC can make you black and interesting."

Toilet Paper. Theres one particularly infuriating one at the minute with two of the worst actresses I have seen in my life pretending to be sisters. Sisters who have in-depth, enthusiastic conversations about bog roll. Jesus on a unicycle, all involved must die.
 
Any comercial that isn't Charmed Angel or Buffy, or that one starbucks comercial (where they start yelling Glen) ticks me off. I think this world would be alot happier if they only showed those comercials.:hihi:
 
The damn Geico ads...it's like enough already...

BTW my favorite commercial is the Boost Mobile one where all the old ladies are acting all ghetto and getting ten kinds of nasty 😀
 
Car Insurance and ringtone ads. Ads that are shown three times with another ad in between (so Hellboy atm), ads for things I don't like passionatly. Ads that have annoying music that gets stuck in your head. Ads that are weird for the sake of being weird, such as the current Ping Pong Pepsi one.

Ads with David Beckham in.

I am also annoyed with the Geico ads. I don't hate all ads tho, infact other than the half-time show that's the only reason I watch the superbowl. I've only bought one thing because of a commercial tho--Frutopia...they had such happy ads back in the day.
ad critic is great for all the fun ads

Sprite Ad, the Sunfizz logo coming to life. Glorious.
 
Has to be the 2 kids in the car commerical talking about their parents as if they were the children! So annoying! In fact most car adverts...

Also, that advert with the people who had mice heads and had kidnapped a cat....what the hell was that all about?!
 
Got another one.

On the Buffy, Angel videos there is an ad about piracy, it is so annoying and the guy looks like someone out of the dark age and evil.
