Hello to all,

thought I would introduce myself ..

Im Faye and im coming to you live from ' sunny ' old England..

Have been a Buffy fan since the beginning and its something I consider a big part of my life, My friends all think im obsessed but I just respond by telling them they have no idea what there missing 😉
although on a plus I have just got my male best friend completely hooked on Buffy, he now insists on 'Buffy Saturdays' much to my delight!

Looking forward to getting to know some of you and posting soon! 🙂

how are you doing?

So, give us an insight into your favourite characters, story arcs and such.

I love the idea of Buffy Saturdays, hmm, I do that with Doctor Who for 13 weeks a year BUT my friend is a fan of both so maybe I could convince her to do that.

Is it a Pizza/Wine or Curry/Beer night?

Im fine thank you how are you?

My fav character in Buffy has to be Anya, she never fails to put a smile on my face, and have to admire her honesty in pretty much everything, Im always brought to tears by her speech in ' The Body'.
I Think one of the main reasons Buffy is so important to me is because, 2 years ago my cousin, whom I was quite close too, took his own life, were still uncertain of the reasons why, but i just remember reaching for Buffy when it happened, was most probably the hardest period of my life and as corny as it sounds Buffy was there to kind of stop me from slipping into a depressed state, so its hugely important to me...

How about you? Whos your fav in Buffy?

Also must say an Angel fan too, not so much as Buffy but he's not far behind hehe, Again my friend is also hooked on that, just the other day he decided to borrown Angel season 5 for the 3rd time, not sure il get that back anytime soon 😛...

I Highly recommend Buffy Saturdays, there awesome, usually takes a while to start watching mind, as we can never really decide on what season to watch ^_^, current fav seasons are 3 and 5 at the moment.

It is a ... choclate night this weekend, what with it being easter and having so many Eggs we thought ' why not', we tend to lose track of time while watching them...

Ooh just noticed your based in London, not that far from me, well okay so a 2 hour train journey.. I live In Leicestershire..

I like you, you're a friendly sort. Me too. I'm widely known on these boards as the friendliest member. You need any help, drop me an email/PM and I'll answer.

Well my favourite Buffyverse character is Lilah closely followed by Tara.
I know they are complete contrasts but there is something I love about them.

I do appreciate Anya and The Body, in obviously my opinion, is her finest hour.
Anyone not moved from that has no Soul.

I will make a slight confession, I prefer Angel but only just.

So, how do you do yours?

Just pick an episode and go for it?

I'd prefer theme nights. That would be fun.
My first would be Progression of non-main characters night.
That would be a Chantrelle/Lily/Anne one or maybe a Jonathan one - though that one would be more episodes.

I like your thinking on the Chocolate night. I haven't bought any Eggs this year, though Tesco are doing 3 for £5 so I might splurge on a tenners worth🙂

Yes, I live in Croydon, which is nice, though I've only been here since July. I am originally from Leeds.

Thats great about being the friendlist member, thank you for being so welcoming, im not usually very good at posting, for some reason I tend to get abit shy :$... until i find my way around then I just dont shut up hehe 😛...

usually we end up picking a season at random, we've started doing the play school game of putting 2 seasons in your hands, mixing them up and them putting your hands behind your back lol, it was my friends turn to pick so at the moment were up to 'checkpoint' on Season 5 ...
I have to admit I havent watched Angel for a while * shaaame* Badness I knows, I did however re-start season 4 not to long ago so I should pick back up on where i left off...

Thank you blondie bear, It took ages for me to try and figure out a username.. and for some apparent reason Dawns " Its cool, Junior Watcher to the library" line from season 7 just appeared in my mind..

And you'll soon get over your shyness here, we're a mad old bunch who will draw you out of your shell, make you laugh and occasionally we may frighten you. In a good way though...

Either way we're a nice friendly bunch so lookin' forward to seein' you posting around and sharing the Buffy and Angel love 😉.

Anya is a wonderful character and I believe for the most part she makes us all laugh quite a lot.
When I do Buffy marathons I am not as cool as Bored of the Dead and do a theme night. Unless it's halloween. Otherwise I start from the beginning and keep on truckin' to the end. Of course with breaks in between, days or sometimes weeks.
Anyways, quite glad to see another new members.

The England I live in is always sunny 😛... I wish, as you know were lucky if we get a 'Summer' and when we do its usually in April not July and August .. *sigh*

You sound like my kinda Buffy marathon Companion Tubula Rasa... I once tried to watch all of season 7 in a day when I got it.. i failed 🙁.. I blame toilet breaks and people unexpectdly dropping in.. In think when Im feeeling brave enough il attempt to *Try* and watch a whole season in one day..
has anyone ever actually done that? If so major Wooah 🙂
