This is how you deal with 'environmental protestors' blocking the road. Nevada Tribal Rangers are pretty bad ass. "I'm gonna take all of you out, you'd better move!" ๐Ÿ˜…

I meant them blocking the road to burning man. I mean... burning man? really? thats just woeful.
Burning Man is so 90's and REALLY lame, but on the other hand, I absolutely despise climate change/environmental protestors who block traffic. They are prime roadkill candidates.

I remember visiting the karri forest protests in the mid 90's. They were camping out to stop the logging in old growth forests, except the places they were protecting werent old growth forests. They'd already been felled 100 years before. The really old trees were already gone.

Its sad to know so much of that forest is gone, but the logging has stopped now. The eco tourism would be a huge drawcard if it wasnt so far away from everything else! Different time. The hippies are rich now.

I havent been down to the tree top walk for a few years. I should go check it out again. Its not far from me. I'd probably be too fat and break the bloody thing now tho. My dad used to jump on it and shake it to scare us.

In other news...

Taylor Swift Leaves Travis Kelce for Prince Harry! - In a shocking turn of events, Taylor Swift has reportedly broken up with her boyfriend of three years, Travis Kelce, for Britain's Prince Harry. The news comes as a surprise to many, as Swift and Kelce seemed to be a happy couple. According to sources close to the couple, Swift and Kelce had been having problems for months. The two were reportedly arguing constantly, and Swift was unhappy with Kelce's commitment to his football career. Meanwhile, Prince Harry has been pursuing Swift for months. He is said to have been smitten with her since they first met at a party last year. Swift, who is known for her love of music, was reportedly impressed by Harry's musical talents. The couple has been spotted together on several occasions in recent weeks. They were seen holding hands at a concert in Los Angeles, and they were also spotted on a romantic getaway in Hawaii. Swift's representatives have declined to comment on the rumors, but sources close to the couple say that they are very much in love. If the rumors are true, this would be a major coup for Prince Harry. Swift is one of the most popular singers in the world, and she has a huge fan base. The couple would be sure to generate a lot of media attention. Only time will tell if Taylor Swift and Prince Harry are truly meant to be. But one thing is for sure: their relationship is sure to be a hot topic of conversation for months to come.

How I wish people in my city would do this! I'm so sick of protesters blocking the freeway because their cause is just more important than that person dying in an ambulance trapped by them. Even if I agree with the cause, this is not the way to win supporters!

Just a bunch of spoiled, uninformed brats looking to get attention any way they can.
Now tell us how you really feel ๐Ÿ˜‚

As a long time football fan, you should know it's not good for the NFL. Just like so many of the new rules aren't good for the NFL. And catering the game towards fantasy football fans isn't a good thing for the NFL. Don't even get me started. But as a longtime football fan I'm sure you know.

The more "casual" eyes that watch the game because of Taylor Swift, the more people will complain about how it's played and even more rules will be made. It's like all of these suddenly new "fans" were saying how Kelce should be fired from the NFL for how he was acting on the sidelines. Get real.

and we're back to my normal reactions to yer posts ๐Ÿ˜’
I do not go along with the modern environmental narrative. Carbon dioxide is not some evil substance, it is necessary for plant growth. We are not living in the time of highest temperatures, the Vikings who settled Greenland grew crops of rye - you can't do that today, it's too cold. We are recovering from the Little Ice Age that lasted from 1300 AD to 1850 AD and the temperatures we are approaching now are normal. The absorption spectrum of CO2 is a narrow band between 14.5 micron wavelengths and 15.5 microns but the infrared incandescence of the earth at normal temperatures is from 8 to 14 microns with the largest number being in the coldest places. We have 0.043 % CO2 in the air but if you are at 100% humidity and at a temperature of 100ยฐF, water vapour forms 6.5% of the air and its absorption spectrum for water does go into the thermal radiant band of the world. In the Little Ice Age, the CO2 content was down to 0.0285% and plants could barely survive.

I am not afraid of more CO2 - in the era of the dinosaurs, we had 0.11% CO2 in the air, the world temperature was 5ยฐC higher and there was 30% oxygen in the air, not the current 19%, which is what allowed plants and animals grow to such huge sizes.

If there is anything scary about the environment, it is the migration of the north magnetic pole 40 km per year (it was 55 km at one point) away from Canada and towards Russia but no one is concerned about it because they can't monetize it. The problem is, we have done tremendously shortsighted things. The runways at JFK International are 12 feet above sea level. Half of New Orleans is 50 feet below sea level, a mile from the ocean with a barrier but no dikes in place. Holland had the right idea but no one else seems to be following them.

Kudos to the tribal police and the German woman.

What is with the painting the roof blue thing? I've seen it all over twitter this week.

My roof needs painting, but I was gona stick with green again... Eventually. But I dont want to accidentally use the wrong colour and give people the wrong impression like I did when I covered my garden in rainbows.

That your garden was full of pots of gold left by leprechauns?
