The video is really nice, especially of her repeating Charlotte's talking to her.

Sigh, if I could just get over the fact that this program is sponsored by Nestle....

Aw this is lovely!

I don't have children of my own but my favorite memories from childhood are of my mom reading to me. I still love "Fantastic Mr. Fox" by Roald Dahl because my mom read it to me and my brother when I was young.

I still pull it out and read it occasionally.

Actually it's probably why I have a library in my house. It's got over 1,500 books and I feel really comfortable and safe in there. Interesting . . .

I remember reading somewhere that SMG collects first editions of children's books. I thought that was pretty cool. It makes sense that she'd be into literacy charity work.

Agreed about Nestle. They're an awful company.

Thanks for sharing the link that was a really good watch.🙂 Especially nice hearing Sarah talk about Charlotte.

Absolutely adorable! She seems like she "gets" being a parent. Charlotte sounds soo cute! I grew up reading, so that was definitely a big part of my childhood, and I am still a book junkie.

I like the part where she talks about "it doesn't end at 3:00." That's something my mom really got and I'm so glad that she did... I mean, I did have summer homework of sorts, but I didn't mind. My summer homework was always targeted towards the things I was interested in... and it was fun.

Good on Sarah! 🙂 (Why is Nestle and awful company btw?)

The Wikipedia link I posted details the Nestle Boycott (which BTW has been going on for a long time now- since the '70s). As a multinational there are a lot of awful things they have been accused of, but one of the worst is the marketing of infant formula to underdeveloped countries which led to lots of infant deaths.

What a cute video! 🙂 It's so cute to watch Sarah talk about Charlotte and it's awesome to hear her be so passionate about children and reading.
