why doesn't buffy become a vampire...that way her strength will double and she'll be unstoppable cuz the slayer strength will be cumulative....i already know that she was a vamp for a short time...

that way...buffy can take care of dawn...and everyones happy
lol

However she would initially fight the wrong fight and off course we could curse her with a soul, but that has been over used!

don't need a soul...just send her in a suicide mission and let the body count rise

uh... because anyone who is vamped becomes evil? and she wouldn't be able to fight that daytime evil much. It's not like she's got a city full of sewers to travel around in like Angel.

Right, I forgot that, good point, but we could turn her into some other kind of demon!

I doubt they would transform Buffy into some kid of demon.

I mean, imagine how she would feel. 😀 However, I suppose if it was for the greater good, but who knows.

Interesting theory though!

But, how do we know the slayer strength would be cumulitive. That makes sense, but who knows...

I mean, imagine how she would feel

lol...thats funny

when buffy turned vamp...she could control herself to fight against evil....and since when did the majority of the fights take place in the day...always at night....if buffy did turn vamp...she couldn't be a counsalor anymore ehh...but she wasn't that good at it anyway...one of her subjects died already...and she hasn't counsoled anyone else so...vamp out

But there's just one more thing ... would she still be hot?

Not always, I mean Glory, Dru, Darla, Harm, Faith and Darth Rosenberg looked good! But demony creatures never look good, because when Dru, Darla and Harm vamped out, they weren't very atractive anymore.

and no I this is not the only thing I think about, it just "accidentally" crossed my mind!

Sure, she would look different, maybe we could turn her into the Clem-like demon, then she would become invinsible and irrisitable!

has joss ever told in an interview that he finds SMG hot?? just wondering. that way i would understand if he went the same direction you want it to go.

buffy...as a vamp....was pretty hott....i'd give a bone to buffy when she's vamped....lol

You're all reminding me of the end of "Nightmares". It think it went something like this:

Willow: Hey, Xander, when Buffy was a vampire, you weren't still, like, attracted to her, were you?

Xander: No! I mean, she was grotesque..

Willow: Still dug her, huh?

Xander: I'm a sick man.

This thread reminds me of the book Tempted Champions when Buffy actually takes on a slayer who became a vampire. The character was very interesting being that not only did she kill people like normal vamps, she also still slayed vampires.

It was somewhat explained in the manner as to why Spike still smokes. Apparently when people are turned they often bring over with them their habits and such into the undead life. She still had the basic instinct to be the slayer, she still patrolled and such. She also was out to prove she was the greatest slayer, hence she hunted down Buffy.

The Vampire Slayer Vampire in the book went by Celina, but apparently her real name was Cassia Marsilka. Actually in the book Spike had known her previously and they decided to have a fun evening. Afterwards she put Spike in some death trap which he couldn't escape without help. Spike inquired her as to why she was doing this and her response was somewhere along the lines of "Well I'm still the slayer, thanks for the good time." Buffy ended up having to save him.

It was a good read, but it's been awhile since I had my nose in it.

Did she die? ... So she was the one that died and turned her powers over to Buffy, right?

Naw, if I recall she was several 100 years old. The big plot of the book was that she choose to become a vampire. She pretty much kicked Buffy's butt on a consistent basis, and her logic began making sense to Buffy.

It would be interesting to find out about the slayer who gave the power to Buffy though 🙂
