No the Slayer that died to give Buffy her powers was India Cohen. I read that in The Book of Fours. BTW, I loved Tempted Champions. Thanks for reminding me. I got to go read it now. 😀

Vampires are inherently evil. Its because they don't have a soul. So they don't have a conscience and they don't feel remorse. If Buffy were turned into a vamp then why would she protect anybody? Not only do vamps inherent the soul's memories and emotions but they usually kill all they people they associate with their former lives.
On the other hand though: I read a theory somewhere that a turned Slayer keeps her soul but they go insane and kill themselves. I think it was one of those storylines that they writers considered and then threw out. I'll have to go check that out, but if a turneds slayer kept her soul and kept from going insane and killing themselves, then they would be a big advantage. And then Angel wouldn't have any reasons to not be with Buffy, so if he ever got a permanant soul they could be together and.............ok.............got to focus..........not this thread's topic.
